I took a bus from Taipei to Yilan to visit the whiskey distillery. There are tours available (free of charge) that show how the whiskey is distilled and made. I highly recommend visiting! After touring the distillery, there's a bar where you can taste the whiskey. It's cheaper than whiskey bars in the city, so make sure to try it out!
