If you’re looking to see some spectacular cherry blossoms this season without being mobbed by crowds, you might want to travel a little further away from the hustle and bustle of central Tokyo. Just 30 from Akihabara, you can find Kashiwanoha park, and it’s ‘Sakura square’. Here, you will see examples of nine different types of Sakura blossom from all over the nation.
Outside the square, Kashiwanoha park has a whole host of fun family activities including children’s play parks, a rugby stadium (home to the NEC green rocket team) a baseball ground, lakes, tea house, rose garden, cafes and more!
