🌄 Doi Hua Mot… Experience Nature at Every Moment
This trip to Doi Hua Mot was filled with unforgettable memories from morning to evening. We started the day by admiring the sea of mist floating over the rugged mountains. The first rays of the day filtered through the thin mist, creating a tranquil and romantic atmosphere that took our breath away.
Along the nature trail, we encountered cycads, gracefully spreading their dark green leaves, and candle trees, blooming in soft white blossoms all around—a refreshing and captivating sight for botany lovers.
As the sun began to set, we chose a viewpoint to watch the last rays of the day. The sun set behind the mountains, softly reflecting on the water's surface. It was a quiet and meaningful moment.
📸 Every corner of Doi Hua Mot is an inspiration for photography and the slow pace of life amidst nature.

Don't miss the viewpoint of the sea of mist at Doi Hua Mot.
“Doi Hua Mot” is located in Umphang District, south of Mae Sot District, Tak Province. It is called “Doi Hua Mot” because it is a low limestone mountain that stretches in a long line with many mountains connected. There are no large trees covering it, only short grasses such as cycads and candle trees. For this reason, the locals call it “Doi Hua Mot”.
“Doi Hua Mot” is 921.73 meters above sea level. The temperature on the mountain is quite cool and there is always wind. Because it is an open mountain with no large trees to block it, you can see a 180-degree view in all directions. Tourists like to come up here to watch the sunrise over the sea of fog in the morning. The best time to see the sunrise is from 5:00 to 6:00 AM. In addition to the sea of fog, you can also see the entire Umphang District below. It is especially beautiful during the late rainy season and early winter.
In addition to the beauty of the sea of fog, it is also known as a flower field that is beautiful in season. In the rainy season from July to August, it is full of beautiful pink candle trees blooming all over the mountain. Therefore, it is called “Doi Chompoo”. In the hot season in March, you will be amazed by the fields of white flowers blooming all over the forest.
