Sleep with the mountains at the old house in Anji. I really like Anji, and if you choose the right homestay, you don't even need to visit tourist spots. As I get older, I truly only enjoy staycations, just lying in the homestay all day long.
This time in Anji, I chose Xixinlu Homestay. There are not many rooms in each building, and they are quite scattered, so it's not noisy. The area is mostly made up of renovated earth houses, and it's a pet-friendly homestay, which is very nice. The facilities are very complete, with a swimming pool, private hot springs, a children's playground, and a stream flowing down from the mountain.
They provide breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner, but dinner needs to be reserved a day in advance. We ordered on the spot with the kitchen's leftover ingredients, and it was really super delicious, praise, praise, it was the best meal I had in Anji these days.
The guest rooms are very spacious and even have bay windows. It's comfortable to bring family or pets. The homestay is very photogenic, I furiously took hundreds of photos. After dinner, taking a walk along the mountain path is nothing but pleasant.

The guesthouse is called Kaichen Xixinlu! Here you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while on vacation, and there's also a super comfortable hot spring, making it a great weekend destination!! If possible, you can drive up the mountain to visit Qiuming Town, where there's still some snow on the road, and the snow-capped mountain top is perfect for taking photos.

What a beautiful homestay in Anji in spring! It's really a hidden gem
I just discovered that Anji is a treasure place, close to Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, and there are many places to play, so I drove to Anji with my friends last weekend.
This rammed earth house-style homestay is very grounded, and the name is also very nice, 'Xixinlu', looking at the peak and resting, peeking at the valley and returning, the meaning is also very simple and beautiful.
The bamboo forest is hidden, which is suitable for hiding in the rivers and lakes of Anji. I quite like this kind of architecture, natural and simple, not delicate and pretentious, accustomed to the minimalist style, occasionally seeing such architecture that blends with nature is very pleasing to the eye.
The homestay was designed by a designer from the China Academy of Art and has also won the best hotel design award. The combination of architectural aesthetics and rural aesthetics is just right.
Xixinlu has a total of 12 buildings, distributed in the mountains and streams, surrounded by green mountains and green waters on three sides. It's simply too great to be here in spring, and it's very interesting to have parties and afternoon tea on the grass.
The homestay has 19 guest rooms, the guest rooms tend to be comfortable and simple, and the space is relatively large, very warm and elegant with wood, very suitable for relaxing here.
The super large floor-to-ceiling windows echo the natural environment outside, which is very good.
The whole supporting facilities are also very complete, but I am still interested in its activities in all seasons. From spring and summer to autumn and winter, there will be various activities suitable for the mountains.
