Enchanting Jurong lake garden
#wheretogo
Embarking on my morning walk at Jurong Lake Gardens is an invigorating experience. The crisp morning air, coupled with the tranquil surroundings, sets the perfect stage for a refreshing start to the day. As I meander through the winding pathways, I'm greeted by the gentle rustling of leaves, the melodious chirping of birds, and the soothing sounds of water from the lake. It's a serene and peaceful moment in time, where I can connect with nature and embrace the beauty of the 'Lights by the Park' event while the world around me gradually awakens.

Jurong Lake Gardens
What an amazing space! This lake/garden is quite old but it has been regularly updated. The grounds are clean and adorned with many plants and some sculptures. It makes for a pleasant but brief walk. There are signs indicating local wildlife. We did see a monitor lizard and some birds.
There’s a section of the garden where the public can rent plots of land to farm. What a great idea! I see a lot of salads!

Up Close And Personal At Jurong Lake Gardens
Everyone is aware that Singapore has the macritchie reservoir, upper seletar pierce reservoir and our world renowned botanical Gardens to get upclose with the beautiful plants and flowers and the beautiful birds.
But do you know that there is a jurong lake garden located at Yuan Ching Rd which is a big park with lakes, a well pathed track with swamps and forest walk where you can see the many beautiful and weirdly shaped plants here too? The easiest way to get here is via the lake side MRT where at the station you will be already able to see the park which is quite big in size! The entrance here is free so do make this a trio down in the west ^^

Enjoy Jurong lake view morning walk
How to get there: Nearest Mrt station is Lakeside Mrt or Chinese Garden Mrt. Different entrance. Usually i walked from Lakeside mrt and exit at Chinese Garden mrt.
The whole Jurong lake garden covers 90 hectares stretches 7.2 km long. It is Singapore third national gardens.
I enjoyed walking the Jurong lake boardwalk, where you can view the entire stunning waterfront. It gives off a peaceful, serene vibe. Birdwatching and spotting monitor lizards are fun here.
There are many nature-inspired playgrounds which is very popular during weekends among families.
Overall, would recommend for families to come and enjoy family activities together

Jurong Lake Gardens
My favourite nature park in Singapore, to rejuvenate the soul. Beautiful boardwalks, green hills, giant slide, truly the largest nature playgarden in the heartlands. The design is to bring back the nature that was unique to the Jurong area. It is a people's garden. The vision was to create a park where people, animals and plants can co-exist and families and the community can come together.
The picturesque Grasslands and Lone Tree are popular spots for couples to take photos, you will feel as though you are in overseas. Another way to enjoy the beauty of Jurong Lake Gardens is by cycling along the Park Connector.

Fret not if you feel peckish after strolling through the gardens as there is a sheltered Pasar Malam with yummy treats on sale, including Ramly burger, and a pushcart selling old school ice cream!

After exercise sometimes you are hungry....so this is a perfect place to head to after exercising at Jurong Lake Gardens. I wouldn't recommend eating their western dishes coz it is not tasty at all. The chinese dishes like horfun is okie. The ambience is super nice comfy and clean. The sad part is the food they serve have so many room for improvements. The cost is slightly pricier than normal. The drinks looks fancy but the taste is subpar. I wish they could improve on their food quality because the location itself is perfect.....They have yet to renew their halal cert...

A walk in the park at Jurong Lake Gardens
Jurong Lake Gardens is a park with many different activities for everyone. There are many play areas for the kids to learn and have lots of fun playing with each other. The butterfly maze has different paths to walk on and it is interesting as the butterflies are free to fly about but are attracted to the flowers grown at the butterfly maze. The exhibits are catered for children with special needs to experience their sensory zones of smell, touch, sound and sight. This educational park is a must-visit! 🦋
