#malaysiatrip A short getaway in George town, Pilau Penang was a great weekend break. Lovely walkable city with various local street food that is superb. Dimsum for breakfast, Nyonya food for lunch, Char Kyow tiew and Assam Laksa for dinner. Love it

Even though it was a little past lunchtime, there were so many customers that it was hard to get a seat. There was a similar restaurant about three doors down, so I was guided there. I was able to get a seat when I went in, but it filled up quickly. The walls were covered with photos of people who appear to be famous. It's a popular restaurant.
