The tranquility of Japanese village, Bukit Tinggi 🇲🇾
#malaysiatrip
I will never forget the feeling of excitement when I first arrived at the Japanese Village, Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi. Located 3,500 feet above sea level, the Japanese Village is the first of its kind outside Japan, here in Malaysia. The journey took about one hour from Kuala Lumpur and was definitely worth it. I was delighted to be greeted by the stunning and spectacular view of green mountains, fresh breeze, and the smell of the lush tropical rainforest. Truly breathtaking! The serene koi pond, authentic tea house, and beautifully landscaped gardens made me feel as if I had been transported to Japan. Every moment spent there was a perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty, creating an unforgettable experience.

🇲🇾Affordable Europe + Asia day trip in the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur🌍|||If you don't know where to go on weekends or for a day trip, come here🙌🏻 Today, let's take a look at the French 🇫🇷 + Japanese 🇯🇵 village in Berjaya Hills near Genting Highlands🤩.
First of all, admission fee of RM14 per person is required 🎫. There is a checkpoint before you go up the mountain where you will be charged. Then the staff will tell you where to park 🅿️, which is free of charge ❌.
My first stop over there is the French Village 🇫🇷, which is truly full of romantic artistic atmosphere 🎨 You can see colorful buildings there, as if you were in the streets and alleys of Paris 🥰 There are coffee shops ☕️, cake shops 🍰 and restaurants, so friends who are a little hungry can also choose to satisfy their hunger there 🍴.
In the French village, every place is a photo spot 📷, and if you want to see the panoramic view, you need to walk to the end of the village where there is a tower. Unfortunately, the elevator there is not available, so you need to climb the stairs 😢. For me, it's worth it to climb up because the view is wider and the photos are naturally more beautiful 📸.
On the second stop, we went to the Japanese village 🇯🇵 by car. However, we saw that there was a buggy shuttle 🛺 available, but for me, driving myself would be more convenient, so it's up to everyone's own choice 🚗. To reach the destination in the Japanese village, we need to climb stairs and mountains 🥹, but the scenery along the way is nice, although it can be tiring 🥲.
After going up, you can see ponds, forests, and many bamboo 🎋. There are only two Japanese-style houses, one provides rental of Japanese clothing services, and the other is more like a check-in place 📷. You can probably finish exploring there in just a few minutes 😂.
Of course, there are friendly and unfriendly places 🥹. This place is more suitable for friends who happen to be nearby for activities to visit 🛕🏯. If you come here specifically, you may be disappointed 🥹.
After all, it's really just a small place, not friendly to the elderly (or to those who don't exercise 🥹), because you either have to climb stairs or hike up mountains 🚶 and these two villages are actually quite small, you can basically explore them in one go. People who come here should be prepared, treat it as an opportunity to broaden your horizons, and don't have too high expectations 🤣.
But for me, I did spend a wonderful time over there. After all, it was with friends, so it was fun no matter what 🤣 So if you don't know where to lepak, you can refer to this place 🇫🇷🇯🇵.
