Optionally, you can reach Bahrain by car crossing the bridge connecting this small island to its large neighbour, Saudi Arabia. Attractions - Bahrain National Museum, World Trade Centre, Bahrain International Circuit, Amwaj Beach. Hotels - the Novotel Bahrain is a good choice as it has its private beach. Food & Restaurants - you’ll find plenty of restaurants in Manama and other areas of the island, serving the local cuisine. In case you prefer something more European or Asian in terms of food, it won’t be a problem either. Shopping - Bahrainis are fond of shopping centres, it’s one of their favourite time-killers, which is why you’ll see them here and there. 👉Today I want to be a Korean girl 🇰🇷. Even in Bahrain, there is Korean food to eat.😋Today, I ordered only 2 things: Tteokbokki, cheese 🥘 and Korean chicken sauce 🍗. I have to say that the taste is a bit too sweet. And I want to eat cheese that is stretchy 🧀, but it is not stretchy. And the chicken sauce does not have pickled radish to cut the richness. But I don't know if they adjust the taste to suit each place or not. But overall, it is delicious. Being abroad and wanting to eat Thai food, anyone who comes to Bahrain must come here. A Thai restaurant that has both grilled pork, papaya salad, various beverage menus. The buffet is all-you-can-eat for 10bd per person, including VAT, it is 11bd per person. They also have sets. Bahrain is an interesting place because the hotel resorts own the prettiest beaches. If you want a free beach to yourself, I recommend Dumistan. I've been maybe six times, and it was empty on almost every trip. There are two cabanas you can relax at. Whole place to yourself, really. The financial harbor comprises of two towers with multiple businesses housed in the buildings. The place also hosts the VFS tasheel for the Saudi visa applications. The place is big and airy with a number of eating kiosks and restaurant as well. There is free car parking for the guest for up to 2 hours. The parking is really cramped and becomes challenge to navigate with larger cars! #givethanks #givethanks

This typical house is very interesting and attractive. The visit was very enjoyable. I think it was the most interesting thing to visit in the old area of Al Muharraq which is located just some km. from Manama and very easy to reach in bus. The best impression you could get to see how Royals lived in 19th century in Bahrain. Great place to take pics #givethanks #givethanks

The mosque itself is simple and elegant and well worth a visit. Our guide for the roughly half-hour tour was Ahmed, a real scholar and gentleman who spoke excellent English and was able to explain a lot about its construction and about Islam. It amused me that the dawn call to prayer includes the line "prayer is better than sleep". #givethanks #givethanks

An archaeological finding that is so spectacular. It’s a must visit place If you come to Bahrain. The entrance is free and you will totally have a great time here experience this amazing UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lots of nice area to snap pictures. The museum speaks alot about the Epic of gilgamesh and the dilmun civilisations in particular and explained (Early,Middle and Late dilmun) with items dating back to these times to more recent things such as old bahraini letters and stamps. #givethanks #givethanks
