Bahrain International Airport Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Gulf Air Review - Surprisingly Amazing
Airlines: Gulf Air
Route: Bahrain to London Heathrow
I booked my flight from Trip.com and I got a great deal. I was given 23kg X2, which was quite generous quota compared to other airlines.
The seats very very comfortable, plane was modern and clean. Staff were kind. The best thing about the flight was the food was really delicious. However, there was only 1 meal for 6 hours, which wasn’t enough.
If your layover is over 5 hours, you are entitled for a free city tour. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay with the airlines

Bahrain Fort Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
An archaeological finding that is so spectacular. It’s a must visit place If you come to Bahrain. The entrance is free and you will totally have a great time here experience this amazing UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lots of nice area to snap pictures.
Worth of visiting since there aren’t many places of historical significance in Bahrain, maybe the best time to visit is late afternoon because of the heat.

Fort of Bahrain
It’s a really historical fort.
In Bahrain, this place holds the distinction of being where the most significant Dilmun discoveries have been excavated. It stands as an exceptional representation not only of the influence of Dilmun but also of its enduring legacy during the Tylos and Islamic periods. The fortress is accompanied by a modern and elegantly designed visitor center and an exceptional museum that provides complimentary audio guides. After your exploration of the ancient remains, make sure to take in the stunning ocean views while enjoying a beverage at the Museum Café.
Bahrain Fort
A UNESCO Heritage Site, The Bahrain Fort is one of the many tourist attractions in Bahrain.
Do come here if you want to learn more about how Bahrain became Bahrain and also the culture of this amazing place!
Highly recommended!

Tree Of Life Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Tree of Life
Tree of Life
Here in the desert lies a 400-year-old tree. If you're in Manama and need a bit of quiet time, this is the place for you.
It's a 40 min drive from the city but worth it. The tree is HUGE, with plenty of shade and space for everyone. There's plenty of parking, a mini-museum, and a restroom as well. There aren't any stores, but an ice cream truck will probably be around to provide refreshments.
On the way back, stop at Askar Beach or any of the cute resorts.
Enjoy! #tripblazers #bahrain #manama #travel #photography #fallingforfall
Although the tree is surrounded by oil pipes etc it is still a thing of beauty and steeped in the history of Bahrain. Situated off Musakar highway between Riffa and Awali this 400+ Prosopis Cineraria (Acacia) tree is a very majestic and beautiful specimen and well worth a visit. It is a wonderful marvel of nature that does not need to be surrounded by shops etc to appreciate the special atmosphere that surrounds it.
