If you also want to escape from the city temporarily and find a spiritual habitat, Penghu Qimei Island is definitely a place worth visiting.

In the busy city life, there is always a desire to get away from the hustle and bustle and find a quiet place. This time, I chose Qimei Island in the Penghu Islands, a paradise surrounded by the sea.
From Penghu Island, I took a ferry to Qimei Island. Along the way, the azure blue sea comes into view and the sea breeze caresses your cheeks, making you feel very comfortable. After more than an hour's voyage, the small island in the distance gradually became clear, the fishing boats on the shore were quietly moored in the harbor, and the scenery of Qimei Island was in full view.
Although Qimei Island is not large in area, its scenic spots are very concentrated. First, I came to the Twin Hearts Stone Weir. This is one of the most famous attractions on the island. Two heart-shaped stone weirs are intertwined on the sea, symbolizing the eternity of love. Taking photos and checking in here, it seems as if all the beauty is concentrated in this moment. From here you can overlook the entire island, and take in the beautiful scenery of the sea and sky, giving you a relaxed and happy feeling.
On the way to Wangfu Rock, I deliberately stopped at another unique attraction - Little Taiwan. This is a rocky beach formed by sea erosion. When viewed from above, its shape resembles Taiwan Island, hence the name "Little Taiwan". Standing on a high place and looking out, the sea water gently laps against this natural rocky beach, as if a miniature version of the entire Taiwan Island is appearing before your eyes. This unique landscape makes people marvel at the wonders of nature.
The Husband-Waiting Rock is another unique attraction on Chimei Island. It is said that the rock symbolizes a woman waiting for her husband to return from the sea. Standing in front of the stone, I couldn't help but be moved by this story, as if I could feel the deep longing and expectation.
The water on the island is crystal clear and has an attractive azure color. Walking along the coastline, you can hear the sound of waves hitting the rocks and see rocks of various shapes and lush vegetation. The air here is fresh and the surroundings are quiet, as if time has stopped here.
The trip to Qimei Island made me feel a rare tranquility and beauty. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this place has pure natural scenery and simple folk customs. Whether it is the romance of the Twin Hearts Stone Pier, the affection of the Husband-Waiting Rock, or the vast view from the lighthouse, every scene of Qimei Island makes me linger. When I left, I took away not only photos and souvenirs, but also a lot of memories and attachment to this pure land.
