This is an amazing hotel, so beautiful and luxurious, located in such a small town! We could easily walk from the hotel to all the historical sites and the central square. It was a great trip! We really enjoyed it. Our room was spacious with a quiet balcony and a very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was fully decorated in marble, featuring a walk-in shower and very nice toiletries. Everything was very gorgeous and comfortable. The breakfast was truly delicious, offering a variety of hot and cold foods, and the fruit was fresh. They have a heated swimming pool and an outdoor area with a regular pool. Honestly, I didn't want to leave. If there were more things to do in Évora, I would stay longer just for this hotel. I highly recommend Évora Olive to everyone. Highly recommend Évora Olive.

Evora is one of my favorite old towns in Portugal. This white city still breathes the warm atmosphere of the mixed cultures it encountered in its vibrant history. You can see typical narrow Moorish streets, white meticulously designed buildings combined with its agricultural and spiritual heritage. It's small and flat, perfect for walking, but large and interesting enough to make visitors feel comfortable as they slowly stroll along the cobblestone streets and beautiful squares. Sit in one of the cafes, enjoy a drink, coffee, and take in the beautiful views of Evora! Check out its churches, chapels, temples, palaces, museums, fountains, noble residences... No wonder it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986. It's a great place for a leisurely walk, with enough good tourist infrastructure to make it a wonderful place for visitors to eat, drink, and have fun.

#2023travelwish Skydiving is one of the activities on many thrill seekers' bucket list. We did in when we were in Portugal. You can do it in many other drop zones across Europe. Skydiving is available in a few places in Portugal. Our first choice is in Algarve, Faro because of the beautiful views of the beaches in southern Portugal. There are skydiving packages which include domestic flight from Lisbon to Algarve. So even though skydiving is not available in Lisbon we can also do it during our visit to Lisbon. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we had to cancel the skydiving trip on Algarve. Eventually we did it in Evora, a city in south-central Portugal, about 1.5 h train ride from Lisbon. We paid 199 euros each to skydive from the highest available height (about 4200 m) where we get to experience free fall for about 1 minute. You can of course pay extra (at least 60 euros) to add on photos and videos. Photos and videos are taken from the instructor's internal camera and from the external camera of another videographer skydiver. Made a stop at Evora and there I was..enjoying the bird's eye view from 16,404.2ft for a 75secs of 200km/h free fall. thanks to my tandem master, Fraustino for letting me to steer the parachute as well. So if you feel like getting that adrenaline pumping, just strap urself to a jumper n jump!! this one took me around €240 including videos and pictures. hoping one day i would be able to take up the skydiving course & with that i can burn more calories but in a fun way. I took the jump through Skydive Portugal. the skydive drop zone located just one hour from Lisbon on the spectacular Alentejo. I Love Évora. It’s an old city, capital from Alentejo’s state in Portugal. It is so charming. This was my first time there and I couldn’t believe how beautiful it is. There are many restaurants, bars and shops in the downtown. You can find really good Portuguese food in the main square in front of the church. 👏🏻 There is also a very famous church builded by bones. It was built around the 1st century AD and is dedicated to Diana, the ancient Roman goddess of the moon and hunting. It is also the best-preserved Roman temple on the Iberian Peninsula. If you have more time, you can go to the Almendres Cromlech Stonehenge, which is located 15 kilometers west of Evora. It is similar to Stonehenge in the UK. It is the largest existing circular stone circle on the Iberian Peninsula and is very suitable for taking pictures.

We visited the Chapel of Bones in Évora (Portugal). What a weird place to visited. However, it is not scary. It gets you to think about life and how things will be. Weird but in a good way I would say. If you are passing by Evora, I recommend doing the Chapel of Bones, the Roman Temple and the Cathedral. While exploring Évora, we stumbled upon Enoteca Cartuxa, a restaurant renowned for serving wines from its own winery and offering regional cuisine. Situated in the heart of the city's historic center, it is conveniently close to the ancient Roman Temple of Évora and the Cathedral of Évora. The restaurant is elegantly decorated, exuding a cozy ambiance. Arriving in the late afternoon, we found the restaurant pleasantly uncrowded. We savored dishes prepared by Chef José, including pumpkin risotto, asparagus and sea bass, and finished with chocolate mousse topped with peanut crumble for dessert. We also enjoyed red wine from the Cartuxa winery. #europetrip (Temple of Diana) is located in a very nice park. It’s has very beautiful architecture and is a very well kept temple. The temple is surrounded by a very lovely garden. The temple is just one of many sites to see. It’s fairly large park and it’s worth the trip visiting and checking out the temples, statues, water fountains and ponds located in and around the area. I enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend taking a nice long walk in this park and seeing its beautiful surroundings and sites.
