[Attraction Introduction]
Igorot Stone Kingdom is a man-made park and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Baguio. It showcases the rock-laying skills, creativity, and indigenous culture, values, lifestyle, and traditions of the Igorot people. The Stone Kingdom is located halfway up Long Long Benguet, just two minutes from the famous Tam-awan Village and a 5 km drive from the center of Baguio.
Igorot Stone covers an area of 6,000 square meters and features the uniqueness of Igorot, creating stone walls similar to rice terraces, surrounded by tall trees. From a high vantage point, the place looks like the ruins of an ancient Roman Empire castle, even if it is fragmented, it is still majestic!!

THE PALACE
The stone kingdom was made like a traditional riprap. The stone kingdom features several attractions, including towers that depict Gatan and Bangan, both Igorots who survived the holocaust, and a Kabunyan tower– a tower for the Igorot god. You’ll also find here a white carabao monument, which, according to the owner, was his sign to build the Stone Kingdom.Another attraction you’ll see here is a bridge and an Igorot gold mine, all showcasing the talent and skills of the Igorot. There’s also a fertility stone tower too! There are just so many things to see and discover in this attraction that are all picture-worthy.
The place also aims to correct the misconceptions about Igorots, as it describes itself as a “cultural revolution.” It aims to show people that the Igorots are civilized and culturally advanced, and they take pride in their skills and heritage. Indeed, this attraction is built for tourism purposes and for everyone to learn about the rich culture of the Igorot people. #baguiotour #baguiocity #travel #travel_lover

Get some chill vibes at Igorot Stone Kingdom in Baguio
The Fertility Tower symbolizes the community’s reverence for life and the bountiful blessings of the land. Visitors are encouraged to offer prayers and wishes for a fruitful life, embracing the sacred bond between humanity and nature. The Tower of Igorot God Kabunyan, with its majestic stature, embodies the Igorots’ spiritual connection with their divine creator. It’s a place of reverence and reflection. Where one can pause and meditate on life’s mysteries and the universe’s grand design. Continuing my journey through the park, we came across the Tower of Gatan and Bangan—a tower that narrates a fantasy story. Furthermore, legend has it that Gatan and Bangan were the sole survivors of a great holocaust that ravaged their homeland. Their tale of resilience and survival resonates with the enduring spirit of the Igorots, who have overcome countless challenges throughout history. I love that this place is more than just great architecture.#igorotstonekingdom
