You must stay at this affordable hotel when you come to Shanghai
Hyatt Centric Zhongshan Park Shanghai, as a transfer in Shanghai, I was torn between Sofitel and Hyatt Centric, and finally chose Hyatt Centric.
The service at Hyatt Centric is quite good, the staff are all knowledgeable destination experts who are always ready to answer your questions about local food, wine, entertainment or shopping. The lobby is grand, the bed in the room is comfortable, and I want to stick to the bed when I lie down hahaha 🛏️. The layout of the room is also okay, maybe the color from the carpet to the sofa makes some people think it looks like a convenient hotel, but I don't think so, the shoes in the room are so comfortable, soft and glutinous 👟.
The room is a deluxe room with a good view. The hotel is adjacent to the bustling Zhongshan Park business district, close to Zhongshan Park and Yuyuan Road, with a superior location. There is a big convenience store opposite the hotel, and the take-out cabinet is on the right side of the gate, you need to pick it up yourself 🚪.
The executive room on the same floor as the sea and lounge, you can see the sea by the window, and the outdoor garden of the lounge is very beautiful. I feel that the hotel is generous to members, the small cakes in the lounge HH are good, the mango juice is freshly squeezed, and the non-alcoholic drinks are quite complete.
The outdoor swimming pool is great, although I didn't go, the hotel offers entertainment facilities such as a fitness center and swimming pool. The night view and afternoon view of the lounge are beautiful, and the window is a good place to take photos 📸.
There is no smart toilet in the bathroom in the room, which is a bit surprising, I feel that the newly opened ones are generally used 🚽.
Today seems to be stolen from the busy life, the waves, coconut trees, and beach, like a dream, the sky meets the clouds, the sky is only under the clouds, and the wind comes from the sea. It would be nice if this dream was made with familiar people 🌅.

A guide to eating and drinking on a budget. What are you going to eat today?
Many Chinese restaurants under Hyatt have recently launched high-value all-you-can-eat events. I haven't been to the Hyatt Centric Zhongshan Park since it opened, so I took advantage of this event to visit the hotel.
I placed an order on the hotel app and made a reservation in advance. It's CNY 158 per person, and it's a buffet. Each dish is small but delicate, so you can try several dishes even if you eat alone. It's really good.
The restaurant is on the second floor of the hotel. The environment is good. I ordered almost all the delicious dishes. I highly recommend the fish, braised pork, shrimp balls, and eel. The eel is a little salty, but it still tastes good. The wasabi shrimp balls are also big and chewy. I was full after eating two. The dim sum, xiaolongbao, and chicken feet are all delicious. The vegetarian dishes, soup, and cold dishes are also good. In conclusion, although this all-you-can-eat set doesn't have any particularly outstanding ingredients, it's still worth a try considering the environment, service, and taste. A brunch outside costs about the same, but it's not as rich as this. Don't you agree?
Next time, I'll try Alila. Their set is CNY 298. I've seen it, and the menu has been upgraded. If you like it, hurry up and try it. The event should end at the end of the year.

Room tour of Hyatt Centric Zhongshan Park Shanghai.
Hyatt fans, come check out this new Centric hotel!
The prices were high when it first opened, and it was criticized along with the nearby Jia Hui Hotel, but now the price is around 800, which is more reasonable. The design is very stylish. There are only about 10 suites, and Globalists get a deluxe view room. The welcome fruit is a bit stingy, with only three red lights, but the breakfast is very good. Unfortunately, there is no Grand Club or equivalent compensation, and the outdoor pool is only open in summer, so I didn't check it out.

No. 1555, Zhongshan Park | Hyatt Centric Shanghai.
| Hyatt Centric Shanghai. Passing by the Magic City, I chose a hotel temporarily to have a drink with my old friends [Happy]
It is located at No. 1555 Dingxi Road, Zhongshan Park. It takes about 40 minutes from Pudong by Maglev + Line 2, and 15 minutes by taxi to Hongqiao. Next to the hotel entrance is Exit 8 of Line 2, which is very convenient, and Shanghai Youth Center is just downstairs. A relaxing place for people to relax on the weekend #yuyuanlu
[Happy] The hotel just opened in April this year. The first impression is that it is modern, refined and fashionable. It is not the design routine of a traditional luxury hotel, it is a bit like a boutique hotel in a small alley, with various Shanghai-style details integrated into it, a modern version of Baidu Hotel. Lemen.
[Love] booked a deluxe double room with an area of 53 square meters. The design of the entrance cloakroom and minibar is very stingy. I thought it was a full season. The bedroom style is very similar to Andaz, the toilet is more compact, there is no washlet, and the bathtub is still mini. The scenery outside the window is half of Zhongshan Park and half of another hotel. It can be seen at any time, and it is difficult to describe it in words.
[Kiss] The restaurant is connected to the lounge lobby. It is very exquisite and beautiful, suitable for an afterparty after the film festival, and the service is warm.
Summary: If the price is not too expensive, you can buy it~

Great hotels near Shanghai Center are here! They're great to stay in and great for photos.
Located near Zhongshan Park Subway Station, these city center hotels are in a great location! And the breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of options. Choose these hotels for your trip and check in here👇
It's been open for over half a year, and the experience is really good. The facilities and services are all up to date, and the response is timely. I love it💕 The most important thing is the hotel environment. It's artistic, retro, fashionable, and high-end. There are also many art exhibitions, which are pleasing to the eye. There are many photo spots~ The photos are great!
Speaking of the hotel room, I chose a view room with a large bed. The window overlooks a park, which is very relaxing and full of vitality. By the way, taking photos by the window is also great. When you go to bed at night, you can fall asleep quickly~
In addition, the hotel also has a gym and a swimming pool! Speaking of the swimming pool, it's quite large. The water is clean and it's very comfortable to swim in. Looking at the blue sky and white clouds, it's great^_^
Finally, speaking of the price, there are discounts for early booking, and the cost performance is high. Of course, the price for temporary booking is also much more affordable than other hotels~ Let's go

Shanghai Hyatt Centric Hotel - Red Design
Carefully crafted by Red Design, the Shanghai Hyatt Centric Hotel has become Asia's premier lifestyle hotel. The project is located next to the landmark Zhongshan Park in Shanghai, a park that was a bustling stage for the convergence of Eastern and Western cultures in the 1920s, attracting numerous magnates and social elites.
👨🏻🎨 Drawing inspiration from the park's prosperous past, the designer meticulously transformed the hotel into a vibrant and luxurious oasis. The hotel's original structure is unique, with its low ceiling height and narrow spaces serving as a canvas for design ingenuity. Utilizing its peculiarities, the hotel has been carefully sculpted into a secret bar-style club hidden behind a refined tailor shop, cleverly recreating the unique mystique of 1920s Shanghai.
👗 Red Design redesigned the ground floor arrival hall into a vintage tailor shop filled with modern elements. The design is inspired by the high-end stores around Zhongshan Park, combining historical heritage with modern aesthetics. Every rich detail seems to beckon guests, inviting them into this charming space. The wall decor is made of thousands of pieces of blue-green fabric, complemented by wall hangings showcasing traditional Chinese qipao fabrics, blending classical charm with modern design.
👔 The curved glass foyer at the main entrance is particularly striking, featuring two abstract acrylic sculptures. One symbolizes the sophistication and uprightness of modern suits, while the other represents the elegance and grace of the qipao. They stand quietly, as if narrating the fusion and collision of Eastern and Western cultures. A hidden passage to the club is concealed in the facade design of the tailor shop.
🔻 Ascending to the second floor, you arrive at the main hall, where a red lacquered reception desk catches your eye. The layout continues the club theme, making you feel as if you are in an English manor, with various dining and social spaces carefully divided into different areas.
🔷 The most striking focal point in the reception area is undoubtedly a dynamic art installation named 'Jinxia.' Composed of interwoven fabric strips, it moves via motors, symbolizing the busy and vibrant traffic and crowds of Shanghai, vividly illustrating the city's hustle and vitality.
🥃 The hotel's bar, named Scenario 1555, is a space of contrasting celebration, designed to immerse guests in a world where old Shanghai charm intertwines with modern urban prosperity. It presents a juxtaposition of the old and new, reflecting Shanghai's dual identity as a center of European classical elegance and cutting-edge modernity.

Hyatt Centric Zhongshan Park

Budget travelers cried with joy, staying at this hotel in Shanghai is a must!
Renovated old building in Zhongshan Park, two new Hyatt brands moved in, both are the first stores in Shanghai, so naturally, the globetrotters have to find a weekend to experience it and collect some stamps along the way. Chose the cheaper Caption by Hyatt first, with a small facade on Dingxi Road, easy to miss if you're not careful. The lobby is on the second floor, you have to go through the restaurant that's been turned into a reception space to get to the front desk, then take the elevator up.
Hyatt members can't use their suite upgrade coupons here, and although I got upgraded to a higher category room, the view wasn't great due to the low floor, with just the parking lot's rooftop platform outside the window. The room's decor is more youthful, with rich colors, and the room isn't small, but the bathroom is a bit cramped.
The hotel doesn't have a Regency Club or HH, overslept the next day and missed breakfast, so can't comment on the dining. Stayed for just one night, the parking lot is shared with The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, but you have to enter and exit through The Unbound's main gate, which is not very conspicuous on the Changning Road side.
The hotel feels more like a budget hotel exclusive for young people, fashionable and youthful but not luxurious, a bit like Marriott's Moxy, but a bit more expensive, so the cost-performance ratio is average. Zhongshan Park is still very convenient, located near Yuyuan Road and Dingxi Road, it's not too chaotic, and it's convenient for strolling and eating. If the price were a bit cheaper, it could still be a choice for business trips and travel.

The Hyatt Centric suites in Shanghai are truly delightful
The Hyatt Centric suites in Shanghai are truly delightful, C2, who needs a bicycle anyway?
Hyatt Centric in Zhongshan Park, C2, is genuinely a happy home. The Shanghai-modern design is photogenic and doesn't lose face; the location is convenient for both business and travel; the hardware is also quite solid, with TOTO smart toilets (not the basic model from Hyatt Changsha, what's the matter Kowloon Warehouse?), Dyson hairdryer, Miele kitchen appliances, who needs a bicycle anyway?
Hyatt's design has always been scrutinized and is not merely about shaping forms, but about integrating local culture with care (except for Hyatt Changsha). This particular Centric is evidently inspired by movies, with dazzling soft furnishings that are not cheap but exude a refined texture.
The Centric suite seems not very spacious, but it's actually very practical. It comes with a home refrigerator and fully equipped kitchen, and you could even use it as an executive suite. The soft furnishings are quite bold this time, at first glance, it has a W vibe, but without losing the frivolousness of W, Hyatt is still restrained after all.
The breakfast is praiseworthy, with exquisite offerings. For a C2 hotel, the meals are quite tasty.
The fitness area is small, with a limited variety of equipment, and there's an outdoor pool that hasn't been opened yet.
Overall, it's a hotel with clever and pleasing design, oh, and it does have a scent, if you go to stay, remember to ask the front desk for an air purifier.

A trendy hotel that doesn't make mistakes by following trends
A five-star hotel rebuilt on the basis of Printemps in Paris, it's not easy to create a sanctuary in a snail shell. A city boutique hotel, with a decoration style that is modern and chic, blooming with flowers, small yet beautiful.
The front desk for Check in is quite distinctive and conceptual, exploring different scenes, with the changing brocade of clouds that varies with the time of day, indicating the passage of time. The transition of red, green, yellow, blue, and black colors.
The main floor's restaurant, bar, and executive lounge combine multiple functions, offering a change of character that brings the breath of city life and a natural transition of functionality.
Room facilities:
Relatively speaking, the colors are bright and lively, giving you a sense of life. The room layout is relatively small, but the arrangement is reasonable and the facilities are complete.
Parking:
On the fourth floor. It is currently free, with the entrance at 833 Changning Road. It's easy to miss and there are no prominent signs.

A highly anticipated yet disappointing new hotel in Shanghai!
The Hyatt Centric in Zhongshan Park, a newcomer to the Hyatt family, was part of my Shanghai Day trip experience.
I had the chance to experience the newly opened Hyatt Centric, and overall, it felt quite charming.
The location is very central, but the parking lot is a bit complicated, giving me a throwback to 10 years ago.
Staying at Andaz brought back many memories, hh, but the front desk service was really indescribable. I hope there will be some improvements in the future.
