The State Opera House is a neo-Renaissance-style building built in the late 19th century. It is also a very famous opera house in Hungary. Its majestic shape alone is enough to impress. Architectural Highlights Statues of the great Hungarian composer Liszt and the theater's first artistic director, Ferencz, tower over the entrance of the theater, making the building even more radiant. Many precious decorations in the National Opera House survived the war in Hungary and survived the war. The beautifully curved arch structure in the building is set off by the exquisite ceiling paintings, which makes people intoxicated. The soaring dome gives the Opera House a visual tension. It is shrouded in the entire hall under the embellishment of mercury lamps, and even the rows of auditoriums seem to have become a place of art that outsiders can’t ask for.

My trip to Budapest was absolutely unforgettable! 🇭🇺 The city’s charm is undeniable, and there’s so much to see and do. I started with a visit to Buda Castle, which offers stunning panoramic views of the city. The entrance fee was around 2,000 HUF, and exploring the castle grounds was like stepping into history. 🏰
Strolling along the Danube Promenade was a highlight. The view of the Parliament Building from there, especially at sunset, is breathtaking. 🌅 For a cultural treat, I visited the Hungarian State Opera House, where a ticket to a performance was about 4,000 HUF. The architecture and the show were both spectacular. 🎭
I also enjoyed soaking in the Széchenyi Thermal Bath, where the entrance fee was about 5,500 HUF. It was so relaxing to unwind in the warm, mineral-rich waters. 🛁
Budapest’s mix of history, stunning architecture, and vibrant nightlife made it an incredible getaway. I can’t wait to return and explore more of this beautiful city! #trip #Budapest #BudaCastle #DanubeViews #SzéchenyiBath #HungarianOpera

Things to do in Budapest: Hungarian State Opera House
📍Hungarian State Opera, Budapest
💵Admission: Approximately 35,000 won (9,000 forints)
☑️The Hungarian State Opera (Hungarian: Magyar Állami Operaház) is a Neo-Renaissance style opera house in central Pest (part of Budapest), Hungary, designed by Miklós Ibi, and is one of the representative 19th-century Hungarian buildings.
I went to see a performance and also looked around the interior, but I recommend watching a performance rather than taking a tour.

State Opera House Budapest Hungary
Visited Hungarian State Opera House in Budapest. The building architecture is just fantastic to view. It had just completed the refurbishment about 2 years ago. The interior of the building is even more appealing to the eyes! The painting on the ceiling wall together with the lighting really being out the grand layout of this opera house. There are 2 staircases leading to the opera house, they are just basically super classy for you to enter the house. Highly recommended to visit this historic building.

The Hungar
The Hungarian National Opera is located in the famous Andrssy Avenue in Budapest, Hungary. It was built in 1875 and is one of the top art palaces in Hungary. With the Neo-Renaissance architecture and Baroque elements, the auditorium has a horseshoe structure with 1,261 seats. Although the theatre is not the largest in terms of size and capacity, it is considered one of the few opera houses in the world that is among the top in terms of beauty and sound quality.
