I stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room. The aroma of tatami mats filled the air as I entered, and the lush courtyard view from the window was truly refreshing.
[Food]
Aomoriya's dining experience is definitely a highlight. Both breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style, offering a variety of Japanese and Western dishes. Reservations are recommended. The restaurant features Aomori Prefecture's specialty apples, creating many appetizing dishes. I highly recommend the apple tempura, grilled wagyu beef, seafood sashimi, and large scallops.
[Activities]
Aomoriya is known for its diverse activities and performances, such as live scallop and tuna fishing (Fortune Festival), drinking apple juice, and more. The highlight is the Michinoku Matsuriya performance, which showcases local Tsugaru characteristics. The enthusiastic dancers, combined with festive music and diverse performances, create a truly captivating stage show.
