Hence we got the honey pot (repeat order as the hubby likes it) and curtain call (fancy intro, taste ok). We also utilised entertainer of 1 for 1 main to get fish and chips and beef guinness. Tasted good though with generous servings of bonito flakes 2) Chilli Crab Linguine Portion is small too. Soft shell crab doused in chilli crab sauce. They only serve crab during lunch. There is a lobster version for dinner. Tasted ok 3) Honey pot cocktail Fermented honey with gin. There is a depth of flavour with a caramelised aftertaste of honey. We really like it. 4) Truffle fries Ordered this as we werent full after the linguine. The portion for this is huge for $11. We couldnt finish in the end. Truffle taste isnt very strong. A lovely place with nice cocktails and food that are perfect for the weekend. I like how each unique drink came with an interesting story. The presentation was on point, and the whole experience was elevated with the friendly staff describing the drinks as they were served. Price per Person - $30-60/pax Rating - This chill out restaurant is located at quiet outdoor western Sg. It is relatively easy to reach via public bus just a short 5mins walk from main road bus stop. It has both indoor air-con seatings as well as outdoor settings with loads of cooling industrial fans so it's not hot! All the western mains we had for the night was well executed: Chilli lobster linguine, Beer beef stew e mashed potatoes, Fish & chips, duck leg confít with four gras oh so flavourful! This restaurant is also infamous for their wife selection of interesting in house concocted cocktails that's brilliantly presented but we just weren't in alcoholic mood that evening of visit. Certainly an atmospheric bar restaurant to be with friends or family for a special dinner/drinks night out due to it's high pricepoint(Average $30/mains, drinks $20++).

#wheretogo if you are in Singapore and wondering where to go for a nice dinner date outdoors, you can consider heading to gillman barracks. the place is near Labrador park mrt station (about 9 mins walk) and the restaurant name is hopscotch. coming here before the sunset is actually quite pretty and you can take lots of beautiful pictures as the aesthetics and layout of the restaurant is just awesome. I ordered a bbq pork ribs for dinner which came with some prawn cracker sides. the ribs were tender and delicious. love the accompanying sauce. also had a bowl of linguine with lobster. lobster was fresh and delicious and pasta cooked well. very flavorful. the bowl of truffle fries was huge and great for pairing with some drinks. fries were crispy and you could taste the truffle as well! overall a nice place to have dinner and some casual talks.
