Hin Ta Hin Yai, Koh Samui
Hin Ta Hin Yai
These are strangely shaped rocks. Hin Ta is a granite rock that looks like a penis, which was eroded by seawater, wind, and sunlight. Hin Yai looks like a female genitalia, which was eroded by waves on the coastal cliff.
Getting there
On the Koh Samui ring road, Highway 4169, heading towards Lamai Beach, look for the signs. If you come from Chaweng Beach, you will have to pass Lamai Beach a little bit before reaching the entrance to Hin Ta Hin Yai. However, if you come from Namtok Na Muang or Ban Hua Thanon, the entrance to Hin Ta Hin Yai will be before Lamai Beach. The entrance to Hin Ta Hin Yai is a small alley with a clear sign at the entrance. Go a little further into the alley and you will see Hin Ta Hin Yai on the beach.
Regulations and prohibitions for tourism at Hin Ta Hin Yai, Koh Samui, have rules that should be followed:
