Eat in Central | Wan Rou To Mi | Freshly Grilled Wagyu Beef Burger with Unlimited Rice
Shrimp Cake had suggested going to "Banrou to Mi" earlier, so Waffles made reservations online.
We took photos on the terrace before our meal.
We arrived at 5:30 PM on Sunday, placing our order and paying at the ordering machine beforehand. The minimum order per person was one "Banrou to Mi Set Meal" ($168).
It was a beautiful, clear day, and the "background" was stunning.
Opening the drawer, I found a piece of paper with suggested ways to enjoy the meal and the special toppings on the table.
Removing the paper revealed chopsticks, plates, wet wipes, and seasonings like salt and black pepper.
The chef grilled an A4-sized Kyushu Wagyu beef burger right in front of us.
We were served freshly cooked rice and miso soup. The rice was made with Akita rice cooked in a hot pot and was unlimited. Both the waffles and shrimp cakes came with refills.
The set meal includes three freshly grilled A4 Kyushu Wagyu beef burgers, served one by one, ensuring they're fresh and piping hot, demonstrating the restaurant's dedication to food temperature.
The first burger is deliciously juicy and full of charcoal and meaty aroma. It's delicious, and you want to let the delicious juices drip into the rice.
The second burger is served with grated daikon radish and homemade yuzu vinegar, a tart, refreshing treat before moving on to the third.
The set also includes a Kyoto egg for the third burger.
After successfully placing the egg yolk on the third burger, of course, you have to take a photo. The rich egg sauce is delicious on its own when mixed with rice, but it's even more delicious with light soy sauce or soy sauce. Finishing off the second bowl of rice is effortless.
Add a pineapple and passion fruit fruit and vegetable soda ($45) for a refreshing taste.
After dinner, while it's still light, it's time to admire the beautiful Victoria Harbour—a sight you never tire of.
