This promenade runs along a small stream that branches off from the Miyagawa River that flows through Takayama. The promenade begins by heading right from Yayoi Bridge, near the end of the Miyagawa Morning Market. It's quiet, and you can enjoy the natural scenery, with autumn leaves in the fall and cherry blossoms in the spring. There are many old, preserved houses nearby, creating a lovely atmosphere. We recommend taking a stroll on a nice day, or just sitting and enjoying the scenery.
