In the deep and unfathomable canyon between Shuidonggou and Hongshanbao, there is a cave for hiding soldiers from the Ming Dynasty more than 500 years ago. It is even more magical with the majestic Great Wall, steep cliffs and mysterious ancient castles. The cave for hiding soldiers from the Shuidonggou is branched inside, like a maze. In the nearly 1,000-meter-long tunnel that has been cleared, there are more than 20 earthen rooms, including small granaries, wells, kitchen stoves, armories, gunpowder stores, traps, hidden weapon channels and artillery platforms pointing to the Grand Canyon. There are small niches on the walls of the earthen rooms, with broken pottery placed there, which seem to be oil lamps. On the ground, you can also find the remains of weapons from the Ming Dynasty, coins, and porcelain fragments.
