just outside of Tokyo there are many beautiful places to visit and do much nature to enjoy. you can take the subway line out to Okutama where you will find this turquoise water and peaceful scenery. There are also places to eat or do a picnic and cut cafes.

Ome River is a beautiful place to stroll along with friends and family that is near the base of Mt. Mitake in Ome. We went here on summer and had a beer while dipping our feet in the water. I like the rock formation surrounding the river making it more mesmerizing. #wintergetaway #wintergetaway

The Water and Green Friendship Hall offers beautiful scenery and is located near the Odawara Lake bus stop. The museum provides detailed information about the history and environment of Odawara Lake. Admission is free and it's worth a visit. There are elevators to access the upper and lower floors, and a circular ramp that allows you to walk up. The first floor has restrooms and high-quality drinking fountains. The restaurant can get crowded, and you need to sign up and wait in line. On weekends, the wait is about half an hour, which is acceptable. Even if you temporarily leave to use the restroom and miss your call, the staff will still let you in. You order food using a self-service machine, pay in cash, and the process is clear and straightforward. The food is served quickly, making it a great spot to visit.

Minegawa Valley Stream Fishing Spot is a great place for leisure. I love coming here during my vacations because I enjoy stream fishing and barbecuing. It's wonderful that Tokyo has such a place. You can rent or purchase stoves, tables, chairs, charcoal, etc., so you can come empty-handed or bring your own ingredients. The fish you catch can be grilled, but this time we had a place to process them ourselves, so we prepared the fish and then grilled them with salt on the barbecue. Move to Okutama Station and take a bus to Hibara Limestone Cave. Nippara Cave in Okutama, Tokyo, is beautifully lit up. I went there in the summer, and it was so cool inside the cave, it was the best place! The colorful lighting was just too beautiful... Even if you find it difficult to set up your camera because so many different colors are used, you can take stylish photos by setting it to Auto! I'm not good at taking photos of night scenes or dark rooms, but I was able to take some great photos in Auto mode. It sparkled like jewels, and it was a very stylish space.
