Hotel is great 👍. I love it’s style with Chinese elements. The territory is rather big. We really enjoyed garden and the outdoor swimming pool. The area is very green, like a ready scene for the movie. Staff is very friendly and helpful. By the reception in the lobby there is a good bar where you can find lots of kinds of drinks. The view from the bar is nice, right on the outdoor terrace. Sits outside are available too, but in summer it’s too hot there. The hotel located by the sea. ✅I haven't stayed at many Marriott hotels, and this is only the second one I've stayed at. The first one was in Nanning. I think the reason I don't stay at Marriott hotels often is because they are usually located in old towns, which is not very convenient. But this time, and the last time I stayed at the Marriott in Nanning, I felt that Marriott is an option that cannot be ignored and can bring unexpected superior experiences. ✅This stay was very good. First of all, I saw that the executive suite was locked on the app two days before check-in. The room should be second only to the vice president suite and the president suite. The area is 133 square meters, which is quite generous. The day before check-in, the hotel called and asked if I would mind if the suite view was blocked and I could not see the sea. Later, I felt that it would be meaningless to live by the sea without seeing the sea, so I asked for a high-rise sea view room, and they arranged a sea view room on the 8th floor for me. When I arrived in the room, I found a lot of surprises, a handwritten welcome letter, a welcome display on the bed, a handwritten check-in blessing from the cleaning aunt, and a super large fruit plate. Although the sea view is not very good, the superior service can make up for all the shortcomings and bring a great check-in experience. The hotel occupancy rate is very high. On the day of check-in, I saw that there were only executive rooms left on the app, and after nightfall, I saw that the lights were on in the rooms next to the building. Even so, I was upgraded to a suite two days before check-in. The sea view room I finally chose was also on the 8th floor where the lounge was located, next to the lounge. Although the sea view is blocked by the lounge building, it is not a big problem. You can still clearly see the sea in the field of vision, which is refreshing. The room hardware is well maintained and there are basically no traces of use. From the style, it should be an old hotel, and it is not easy to maintain this level. ✅After all, it is a resort hotel, and the outdoor swimming pool is quite good. The swimming pool is large and there is a hot spring area in it. The hot spring water temperature is not high, about 38 degrees. Maybe because it was a bit cold at night, there was no one in the swimming pool, but the hot spring pool was full. There is no changing room in the swimming pool area, and the changing room is in the main building, which is not reasonably designed. There is no obvious sign when you walk out of the main building to the hot spring pool. It took a lot of effort to find a sign and found that it pointed in the wrong opposite direction. In fact, the original direction was correct, but for some reason, the hotel only left a small door on the edge of the large swimming pool area, making it inconvenient to enter and exit. ✅The city of Haikou gives me the feeling that it has a lot more life than Sanya. When it comes to commuting, it is still congested to death, and the streets are full of cars at night. I will stay at the Westin in the city again when I have time to experience this city more deeply.

The entrance is an arched stone gate, and several buildings are scattered harmoniously in a garden-like setting. The hotel's landscaping is also rich, with tall palm trees and various other lush tropical plants, making it feel like a giant natural oxygen bar. Rooms The rooms are very spacious, starting at 58 square meters. The layout is spacious and bright, with off-white marble floors, red-brown furniture with an oriental aesthetic, and textured carpets as accents. The warm yellow lighting creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Some room types even have large balconies facing the sea. In your leisure time, even just sitting here daydreaming, watching the blue sky, white clouds, and the sea, sipping tea, and chatting with friends is so pleasant. Facilities The hotel is also very suitable for bringing children. The indoor children's playground provides toys. Of course, the washroom is still in a modern minimalist style, without a bathtub, etc. This combination of designs is not only convenient for practical use but also reflects the hotel's cultural dedication. 📝Public Area Introduction The hotel's public area is very large, with a large lawn in the middle as a divider, the left side designed with small bridges over flowing water, pavilions, and towers. The 'flowing water' of the small bridges serves as a children's swimming pool channel, with a water depth designed at 1.3m, convenient for children to play in the water. Pavilions and towers serve as rest areas and hot spring zones, where a family can play and rest quite contentedly. On the right side, there is a 1.6m deep adult swimming pool. Square flower beds are built in the middle of the pool to plant trees for shade. The hotel also has a bamboo forest, which is quite ancient in style. 🍲Dining Introduction The hotel's breakfast can be said to have the largest selection of Chinese dishes among all the hotels I have stayed in. Tofu pudding, spicy oil noodles, Peking duck, freshly fried dough sticks, 24 kinds of porridge side dishes, and even rice noodle rolls in steaming baskets have made it to the breakfast stage... Making a fried egg, it's stuffed with one or two shrimp inside, and there are also pickled pineapples with millet chili, pears, etc. Common dishes like freshly fried crispy meat, roasted sweet potatoes, and roasted chicken are standard. It can be said that the hotel is quite dedicated when it comes to Chinese breakfast. The hotel also has a lounge, no big dishes, but roasted suckling pig, steamed dumplings, fried fish pieces are available. My opinion of the hotel has progressively improved throughout the stay. Overall, it was a good stay, punctuated by very good service. Specifically, on a few individual features of the hotel: Adult pool - definitely a good idea. Was not busy and well taken care of. Breakfast restaurant - enough selection, and good service. Executive Lounge - excellent service within, especially the manger that was on duty during our stay (I think her name is Jessica, but I didn't catch exactly). Her entire team was pretty good, but her own personal attention to customers was above any beyond expectation. Food generally was so-so, but plenty of fresh fruit, and the hotel bakery is amazing! Especially good were croissants at breakfast and the bread at the Executive Lounge for Happy Hour. Gym - eh... a little too dark and not too much space for stretching and non-machine exercise Room - pretty good. Very large and spacious bathroom. However, the positioning of the bathtub right at the corner, where the sliding door close was closing is unfortunate. Our room was at the end of the west wing, looking east at the beach - the view was great.
