📅Travel guide:
I. Haida Cableway and Silver Beach Route
1. Haida Cableway Route
The cableway connects Dalian Forest Zoo and Lianhuashan Observation Deck. The whole journey takes about 15 minutes, and you can overlook the Xinghai Bay Cross-sea Bridge and Binhai Road. The cableway has three stations: North Gate, South Gate and Lianhua Mountain. The one-way fare is 60 yuan/person, and the round-trip fare is 100 yuan/person. You need to buy another ticket after getting off at Lianhua Mountain. You need to buy a ticket for the Lianhua Mountain Observation Deck. Standing or sitting from the south gate, your back is facing the sea; sitting or sitting from the north gate, you are facing the sea. The best option is to start from the North Gate Station of the Zoo, buy a one-way ticket and get off at the South Gate directly without getting off at Lianhua Mountain (the scenery seen from the observation deck is similar to that seen in the cable car). After getting off the bus, you can reach the Silver Beach attraction by walking for about 15 minutes.
2. Guide to visiting Silver Beach
The water here is clear and the pebble beach is beautiful, suitable for camping, swimming or just sitting and listening to the waves. Walking along the coastal boardwalk, there is a high chance of encountering wild sika deer along the way.

The gameplay of the two squares is the same, but the scenery is different
1. Seagull interaction
The seagulls in Dalian are so cute. As long as you have ham or bread in your hand, they will immediately fly over your head in groups.
2. Musical Fountain
Open every night in summer, the lights and water jets change with the music, it is recommended to go in the evening.
3. Going out to sea by boat
The price varies in each season. You need to ask several companies and bargain. The taxi driver said that I was overpriced [Facepalm]
3. Venice Water City
Located in Donggang Business District, it was built in the style of Venice, Italy, with Gothic buildings on both sides of the canal. You can take a gondola cruise (about 50 yuan/person) through the canal and experience European romance.

Classic dishes recommended by locals include scallion oil bird shellfish, seafood family (abalone, sea cucumber, shrimp stew), sweet and sour fish cubes and three fresh stew (sesame sauce with fried stew).
2. Seafood market experience: freshly caught and eaten fresh
Go to Heishijiao or Changxing market to select fresh seafood (such as scallops, sea urchins, abalone), and then find a nearby restaurant to process it. You can enjoy "seafood freedom" for only 100 yuan per person.

There are many morning markets such as Dagou Morning Market, Taoyuan Morning Market and Jinxiu Morning Market, which are all very conveniently located and offer a variety of fresh fruits, seafood, snacks and canapes at affordable prices.
Night Market: Jiaotong University Food Street, Xi'an Road Night Market, Dalian Old Street, etc., all have barbecue and various snacks. We recommend trying Dalian's specialties, grilled sea sausage and garlic oysters.
4. Seafood dumplings:
Xi Ding’s signature sea urchin dumplings are sweet and juicy, costing about 150 yuan per person. It is recommended to eat during off-peak hours to avoid queuing.
🏨Accommodation tips: It is recommended to stay near Xinghai Square and Donggang Square, which have beautiful scenery and convenient transportation.
💗Other tips: The Dalian Metro covers the main urban area, and the starting price for taxis between scenic spots is 10 yuan; when buying seafood at the market, be wary of substitutions, and give priority to old stores recommended by locals.
