There are many ancient monuments in Athens, Greece🇬🇷. I did some research before leaving and found that if I want to visit several ancient monuments, including the Acropolis, it is best to buy a package ticket. If you buy it at the Acropolis, you may have to wait in a long queue. You can pre-order online, but some people say there is a chance you can buy fake tickets. So my strategy is to go to this less popular ruins that is closest to the hotel first. There are only a few tourists, and you can buy tickets without queuing. The package is €30, which includes the entrance fees to 7 ancient monuments, so pack well!
Hadrian's Library was a library built by the Roman Emperor Hadrian in 132 AD. The library was once a public square and cultural center, with a collection of papyrus books, works of art, lecture halls and gorgeous gardens.
Most of Hadrian's Library has collapsed, and only one side of the high wall is relatively intact. Standing under that wall, it feels very tall.
This attraction is very conveniently located, opposite Monastiraki Station 🚉, near the Monastiraki flea market.
By the way, it is not difficult to see cats on the streets of Greece, but when I visited Hadrian’s Library, I actually saw a turtle, and it was a pretty big one! 🐢
