The best country: Vancouver, Canada
In Vancouver, if you buy a Day pass, you can ride all public transportation, including city buses, subways, trains, and Seabuses. The Day pass costs $11.50 (as of September 2024), which is about 1,250 yen. It may seem expensive at first glance, but it's a good deal because you can go from one end of the city to the other with this pass!
Vancouver has a lot of nature, such as the sea, mountains, and lakes, so it's a great place for nature lovers! Even though there is a lot of nature, there are also urban areas, so people who like skyscrapers and shopping can enjoy it! The cityscape is completely different from Japan, so just walking around is really fun and exciting😆
On the other hand, in terms of security, it is really dangerous. There is a street called Hastings Street, but there are a lot of drug addicts and homeless people there, so never go near it. I have passed in front of it several times on the bus and the scene was shocking. It is really dangerous, so if you are planning to go to Vancouver, you should never go there even during the day. You don't know what they are thinking, so you don't know what they will do.
I think places other than here are relatively safe! I've been out and about at night and taken the bus, but I've never had any dangerous experiences. However, it's definitely more dangerous than Japan, so it's best not to go out late at night lol
Vancouver has a wide variety of restaurants, including Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Southeast Asian (Vietnamese, Philippine, Malaysian, etc.), and European! So you can rest assured that you'll have no trouble finding food 🙆
It's a really great city, so please go! ^ ^
