Food we tried on our road trip from Shanghai to Hainan
🌟In Zhanjiang, we originally planned to visit Chikan Old Street, but we were too tired and canceled the plan. Instead, we went to Jin Hui Huang Hotel for dinner. The hotel is famous for its morning tea, but we arrived in the afternoon and missed it, so we had dinner instead. The dinner was delicious, and the staff were very polite. Although most of the seats in the lobby were reserved for the end of the year, they still arranged a private seat for us. The recommended dishes were all delicious, and they reminded us not to order too much. My teammates and Jiao Jiao tried mudskipper for the first time and thought it was delicious. In addition, the hotel is very close to the Atour Hotel Zhanjiang where we stayed.
🌟In Leizhou, we went to Yue De Seafood, which was within walking distance. The portions were large, and the food was delicious. There is also an old street here, which we passed by when we were driving, but we didn't have time to visit.
🌟In Qingyuan, we had clay pot chicken at Shunying Times Square. It was delicious, but the food was served too slowly, and we were starving.
🌟I had been thinking about Fuzhou, but I couldn't plan it on the way there, so I finally stayed for one night on the way back. Although I didn't have time to visit the attractions I wanted to see, I had a great impression of the city. The hotel was close to the highway and not far from the mall. We had Japanese food and ordered a popular local dessert called "Tian La La" when we returned to the hotel. I will definitely come back to Fuzhou, the hometown of Tang Xianzu, to have a good time.
