Bali | explore the hidden waterfall before it gets viral
There are so many waterfalls in Bali that have become tourists' hotspots. But everyone wants to enjoy places with no or at least fewer people right? It's time for you to discover this one - Gitgit waterfall.
It is not that popular yet but equally amazing and breathtaking! Located in the North, I visited this spot after a few places in Munduk such as Handara gate and Ulun Danu Temple. It would already be a day trip itinerary where these spots are relatively nearby. You could book a private driver for a day.
Getting back to the waterfall, the trekking is not that tough if I compare it with other waterfalls I have visited before. It takes me around 10-15 minutes to get down to the amazing waterfall. Some may even get closer to the water to feel how strong it is and enjoy the natural pool but just have to be careful as it is quite slippery.
P.s. last pic is the painting for sale in the local stores along the trekking!

Stunning waterfall in Bali
#indonesiatrip
Gitgit Waterfall, also known as Air Terjun Gitgit, is a stunning natural attraction located in North Bali, Indonesia. It is one of the most popular waterfalls on the island because of the beauty, surrounding mountains and tropical rainforest. You need to walk along the well-marked trail that winds through the jungle, crossing wooden bridges and rocky paths to reach Gigit Waterfall. This would allow you to enjoy the nature. There's nature pool that allow you to dip in after the hike.

Gitgit Waterfall.
Beautiful gardens and temples, had a great time wandering around. If you want to avoid the crowds, go early. But give yourself time to explore. Good coffee at the cafe.
Really pretty waterfall. As far as I understand, you need to have a tour guide here, and the entrance fee is a bit higher than usual, at 100,000 per person, but it's worth it. The guide was really friendly and helped us take pictures.
You can also stand in the water and even go into the waterfall. So bring your swimsuit if you come here. You can take some really cool photos.
A beautiful and lovely little wonder of nature. We visited this place on a trekking that visits many different waterfalls and I highly recommend Git waterfall. The walk is really cool and everywhere you look is really beautiful and vibrant with healthy foliage. You can't capture the real beauty in photos.
It can be slippery and one of the waterfalls might be closed if it rains. But the twin waterfalls should be open.

Bali is lit 🔥

Gitgit Waterfall
Note the entrance fee is 20k.
You can choose to have to a park guide for this at Rp200k .The walk through the jungle was so much more interesting and the waterfall it’s like a surprise. Less crowded with tourists as it’s not yet a hot spot and not so accessible if not so fit.
Our local guide offer to bring me down as I am travelling alone. You can also bath and swim if you don’t mind to change in open air. Note that there are not many shops around the route hence bring your own drinks/foodstuffs is encouraged. you can also buy from the locals alone the trails with extra premium .
Please do carry back your rubbish when you are done
