Stockholm - Capital City of Sweden
I had a chance to visit few places at Stockholm during my stay such as Vasa Museum, Skansen, Zoo at Stockholm, Gamla Stan, Drottningholm Palace, Sodermalm and few more. Overall I love spending my time strolling around Gamla stan. Enjoy my time get a cup of coffee and best waffle at the cafe. If you loved history, there are a lot of city tour to be done right here to see old buildings and narrow cobblestone streets. Hope I will come back again some other time.

Galma Stan

No trip to Stockholm is complete without a visit to Galma Stan. Shops can be a bit touristy, but the buildings are stunning. Iy was our first time in Stockholm, we walked through this quaint area. It has lovely architecture, mixed in with lots of souvenir shops, small boutiques/restaurant, interesting alleyways, and of course, a few major tourist attractions (Nobel Museum, Royal Palace, Parliament). It was a relaxing walk around Gamla Stan for the whole afternoon.

Gamla Stan in Stockholm
#SpooktacularTrip #stockholm #awesomepic #urbanexplorer #mytripvlog One of the best preserved and most beautiful city centres in whole Europe! Yellow facades of old houses makes this district especially attractive also after sunset or at night. Even though the Swedish capital is not obvious destination in Europe, its city centre can be definitely placed among the most recognised city centres of major European capitals and other cities. I personally recommend to visit Stockholm not only for those currently traveling Sweden, but also for those seeking for ideal weekend trip in Europe! You can also combine a visit in Stockholm with a trip to nearby Uppsala hosting one of the most beautiful Swedish churches - Uppsala Cathedral

A visit to the old town of Stockholm, Gambla Stan. The weather was not so nice, but it stays a beautiful city. Go for a walk to have an amazing view or climb the stairs of the smallest walking area of Sweden. But above all, enjoy the time in this small part of Stockholm #givethanks

Strolling in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden
Indeed, as the Venice of the North, as many as 14 islands connect Stockholm together. I was fortunate to wander aimlessly on the streets on a snowy day. I went to the cathedral, the museum, and saw the central park and the mall. The carefree days are too beautiful...

Stockholm: Where Elegance Reigns Supreme
Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, welcomes travelers with an aura of regal charm and cultural richness. The journey begins at the majestic Royal Palace, an architectural masterpiece adorned with intricate details and grandeur fit for royalty. The opulence of the palace's halls and chambers, steeped in history, mesmerizes visitors and transports them to an era of lavish sophistication.
A stroll through Gamla Stan, the old town, feels like stepping into a medieval fairy tale. Cobblestone streets wind past vibrant buildings painted in hues of ochre and terracotta, their facades adorned with ornate ironwork and charming window boxes overflowing with blossoms. The narrow alleys unveil hidden gems, from cozy cafes exuding old-world charm to artisanal boutiques offering unique treasures.
At the Nobel Museum, the spirit of innovation and excellence captivates the soul. The museum's exhibits honor the brilliance of Nobel laureates while inspiring visitors with their groundbreaking achievements. The allure of knowledge intertwines with the elegance of discovery, creating a harmonious symphony that echoes through the corridors of the museum.
A visit to the National Museum is a journey through centuries of artistic brilliance. Treasures from various epochs adorn its halls, showcasing the evolution of Swedish art with pieces that evoke emotions and stir the imagination. Each stroke of a brush or chisel reflects the beauty of creativity frozen in time, inviting contemplation and admiration.
Stockholm, with its blend of history, art, and architectural splendor, is a canvas that paints an enchanting portrait of elegance and sophistication. It's a city where every corner whispers tales of grandeur and beauty, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to wander its captivating streets.

Summer's Spell: Stockholm's Enchantment
#wheretogo
Last summer, I embarked on a four-day journey to Stockholm, a city nestled between the serene waters of Lake Mälaren and the vast Baltic Sea. From the moment I set foot in this Scandinavian jewel, I was captivated by its timeless charm.
On the first day, I strolled through Gamla Stan, the enchanting old town. Cobblestone streets led me to colorful buildings adorned with charming flower boxes, and I found myself lost in the labyrinth of alleys. The Royal Palace stood tall, guarding a trove of history.
Day two was an island-hopping adventure. Djurgården enchanted me with its lush parks, the Vasa Museum held the secrets of a sunken warship, and Skansen transported me back in time to a living open-air museum. I marveled at the maritime tales in the ABBA Museum, the beat of Swedish pop still echoing in my heart.
Day three was spent cruising the archipelago, where thousands of islands glistened under the Nordic sun. Each island had its unique character, from tranquil retreats to bustling hubs, and I felt as if I were in a dream.
The final day, I relaxed in the serene Djurgården again, indulging in Swedish delicacies and watching the sunset over Lake Mälaren. As the sun dipped below the horizon, I realized that Stockholm had left an indelible mark on my heart, a memory of a summer's dream I'd cherish forever.

#bucketlistreboot
Stockholm is famous for its unique architecture, a reminiscence of the glory days of the Swedish Empire. It hosts multiple museums and provides a good set of activities once there.
Gamla Stan
If you are wondering which island to visit in Stockholm, we would recommend for sure, to start with Gamla Stan. This is the old city centre and host many official buildings and typical Stockholm landmarks.
Riksdagshuset (Parliament House)
Over there you will also see many cathedrals and churches. Crossing over the bridge, on our way to the Stockholm City Hall we can also see the the Riksdagshuset or the Parliament House.

The history of the Old Town of Stockholm dates back to the thirteenth century and is very old. The city has medieval alleys, colorful houses, round stone streets, and classical buildings. Since Sweden has no war for two hundred years, the Old City is well preserved. In addition to the Royal Palace, the Grand Place, the Cathedral, the Parliament Building, the Nobel Museum, and a variety of small shops and restaurants, it is worth a little more time to stop and hang around.

Every Christmas, Europe's big and small cities will be extraordinarily warm, even if there is snow in the sky, but the Christmas lights everywhere in the city and the laughter of the children make every cold winter come. Get warm.
Stockholm on Christmas Eve, there is a place to visit, that is the Christmas market on the Old Town Square.
A dazzling array of exquisite small handicrafts, candles, sweets, and small dolls, all of which are indispensable elements of the Christmas market. The market snacks here are a famous local food collection place. In the cold winter, you can eat hot reindeer meat, drink a delicious mulled wine, and finally buy a bag of sweet, sugar-free nuts.
The Christmas market in the Old Town is a Swedish tradition. Surrounded by ancient colorful houses, it is an unmistakable opportunity to experience the warm fairy tale world in the winter!

For the first time, I took the subway for the subway and bought a ticket to sit at random. There are more than one hundred stations. No matter which one you arrive, you can enjoy different scenery. I think the subway designers in Stockholm are great sculptors and illustrators...
