☀️ Morning Jog in Fulong — Where the Sun Runs Beside You
#holidayitinerary
Fulong wakes slowly, like a watercolor painting kissed by sunlight. As I laced up for a morning jog, the town was already glowing—its beachside charm unfolding with every step. The air was crisp, tinged with salt and the scent of dew-kissed grass. The sun, rising gently over the Pacific, cast golden ribbons across the coastline, turning even the simplest path into something cinematic.
Jogging through Fulong is like moving through a living postcard. The rhythm of my feet matched the hush of waves, and every breath felt like a sip of clarity. Locals nodded with quiet smiles, cyclists whizzed past with baskets of breakfast buns, and the occasional dog trotted alongside its owner, tail wagging in sync with the morning breeze.
The highlight? That moment when the sun fully crested the horizon, bathing the town in a warm, amber glow. Buildings shimmered, the sea sparkled, and even the train station looked poetic in the light. It felt like the sun itself was jogging beside me—cheering me on, lighting the way.

🌅 Starbucks Sea View Fulong — Coffee with a Horizon
#holidayitinerary
If heaven brewed coffee, it might look like this.
Nestled right at the edge of Fulong Beach, Starbucks Sea View Fulong is more than a café—it’s a sanctuary of sea breeze, sunrise, and serenity. As you sip your coffee, the vast blue sky stretches endlessly above, and the ocean hums softly just steps away. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and every moment feels like a postcard.
I arrived just as the sun began to rise, and the building itself seemed to glow—bathed in golden light, standing like a lone lighthouse of warmth and calm. The glass façade shimmered, the sand sparkled, and the aroma of freshly brewed espresso mingled with the salty air. It was magical. Almost surreal.
Whether you’re enjoying a flat white or a refreshing yuzu lemon star refresher, the drinks taste better here—not just because of the quality, but because of the view. The gentle waves, the golden sand, and the soft hum of morning conversations create a backdrop that elevates every sip.
It’s not just a Starbucks. It’s a moment. A memory. A place where coffee meets coastline and the ordinary becomes extraordinary.

Fulong Beach: Where Sky and Sea Speak in the Same Hue
#holidayitinerary
Nestled along Taiwan’s northeastern coast, Fulong Beach greets you not with fanfare, but with a quiet kind of majesty. The signboard at the entrance is simple, almost understated — a gateway to one of the island’s most breathtaking coastal stretches. But step beyond it, and the world opens up in color and texture.
The sand here isn’t just sand. It’s a canvas. Every year, artists from across the region gather for the annual sand sculpting competition, transforming the shoreline into a gallery of ephemeral wonder. Dragons rise from the earth, temples emerge from grains, and stories unfold in sculpted silence — all destined to return to the sea.
What struck me most was the way the sky and ocean seemed to conspire in harmony. On that day, they mirrored each other perfectly — a gradient of soft blues and silvers, as if the horizon had forgotten where one ended and the other began. The breeze carried the scent of salt and sun-warmed driftwood, and even the laughter of families felt like part of the landscape.

🌅 Sunrise Blessings at Fulong Beach: A Temple Bathed in Light
#holidayitinerary
#fulong #taiwan
Nestled beside the tranquil shores of Fulong Beach, this Chinese temple greeted me not just with its ornate architecture, but with a moment of pure serendipity — the sunrise rising directly above its gilded rooftop. As the first light of day pierced the horizon, it crowned the temple in a golden halo, casting long shadows across the courtyard and illuminating the intricate carvings of divine figures with a soft, celestial glow.
The temple itself is a masterpiece of devotion and artistry. Every corner is adorned with vibrant murals and statues that seem to whisper stories of gods and guardians. The scent of incense mingles with the salty breeze from the nearby sea, creating a sensory blend of earth, ocean, and spirit.
One of the most charming rituals here is the drawing of a lucky charm. Visitors are invited to follow a beautifully illustrated brochure that guides them through the steps of prayer and selection — a thoughtful gesture that makes the spiritual practice accessible to all, regardless of background. It’s not just a token; it feels like a dialogue with the divine.
This sunrise encounter wasn’t just visually stunning — it felt symbolic. As the sun rose from the temple’s crown, it seemed to signal renewal, clarity, and quiet awe. If you ever find yourself in northern Taiwan, don’t miss this sacred moment where nature and faith converge in golden harmony.

🌊 Morning Whispers at Fulong Fishing Port
#holidayitinerary
#fulong #taiwan
Fulong Fishing Port is a quiet marvel where sky and sea seem to mirror each other in perfect harmony — a canvas of endless blue, brushed with the soft strokes of morning light. As I arrived, the ocean shimmered like glass, reflecting the sky’s gentle hues and the silhouettes of boats bobbing peacefully in the harbor.
A lighthouse stands sentinel at the edge, its white tower catching the sun like a beacon of calm. Around it, a cluster of fishing boats rests in formation, their faded paint and tangled nets telling stories of tides and time. The port isn’t just picturesque — it’s alive. Villagers move with quiet purpose, performing their daily routines with a grace that feels almost choreographed: sorting nets, chatting over tea, preparing for the day’s catch.
There’s something deeply grounding about watching life unfold here. It’s not just a place to visit — it’s a place to pause. To breathe in the salt air, listen to the rhythm of waves against the dock, and feel the pulse of a community that lives in sync with the sea.

A small city near Taipei where you can enjoy both the forest and the sea 🌊Fulong Beach⛱️
Here is a review of Fulong & Fulong Beach that I visited in mid-September❤️
Fulong is a small city located very close to Taipei, and it takes 43 minutes by train from Songshan Station😍
As soon as you get off the station, there is a famous Guangfu Lunch Box shop on the left
You can buy a lunch box with various meat side dishes for NT$80!
At the end, I attached a photo of the miner's lunch box 😉
I recommend you try the lemon jelly drink before that🍋
Based on the locals' reviews, it seemed like a food of childhood memories😋
The lemon jelly drink is NT$40
It was nice that they squeezed the lemon juice on the spot
If you walk along the pretty forest path from the station, you will come across a wide beach
On the day I visited, there were surfers because the waves were good🌊🏄♂️
It was a place with such good waves that I thought I should definitely go surfing next time
Despite being such a beautiful place, there were almost no visitors, so I was able to have a good time with my friends😍
There were no dangerous rocks or marine life in the sea, so I enjoyed swimming in the sea for a long time🤿
It was really fun to walk back to the station along the forest path where the sun was shining👍
I recommend visiting the Raohe Street Night Market to everyone who visits Taipei😎
