Sake Bottles, Wood Tables & Good Food
#kualalumpurtrip
During my Malaysia trip, I found Fujisawa Izakaya, a little restaurant packed with character. From the outside, it looked humble, but stepping in revealed shelves of sake bottles, soft lighting, and wooden tables that gave it a relaxed, traditional feel.
I had a satisfying Japanese set lunch with rice, miso-style soup, pickles, vegetables, and a hearty main. It was filling, flavorful, and comforting—the kind of meal that doesn’t try too hard but leaves you happy. I’ll definitely revisit when I need that Japanese homestyle touch in KL.
