I had Okonomiyaki last time and it was delicious. This time when I went to Hiroshima, of course I had to try Hiroshima yaki. For my first meal in Hiroshima, I decided to go straight to Nagataya Hiroshima Okaki. I didn't expect that there were already people lining up before the store opened, which shows that it is really popular. Nagataya Hiroshima Okiyaki is located near the Peace Memorial Park, just walk under the Motoan Bridge The surrounding Hiroshima attractions include the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and the Memorial Monument. This is an area that many people will definitely visit when they come to Hiroshima for tourism. You can take the Hiroshima tram to Atomic Bomb Dome-mae Station, Kamiyacho-nishi Station, or Hondori Station, and walk about 3 minutes to the destination. Watching the chefs skillfully prepare various flavors of Hiroshima grilled food, coupled with the aroma of teppanyaki, is a visual, olfactory, and auditory cooking performance. There is no Chinese menu, but there is an English menu, and it is not difficult to order food with pictures. The signature dish is Nagataya yaki. If you don’t have any particular preferences when visiting for the first time, it is recommended to order this directly. It is also the most ordered item in the store. This is the first Hiroshima yaki restaurant I ate in Hiroshima. At the beginning, I had not yet mastered the skills of eating Hiroshima yaki. I think the combination of ingredients is very important for making Hiroshima okonomiyaki delicious. There should be a variety of ingredients to make it taste rich. So if you want any toppings, don’t hesitate about the price, just add whatever you want, trust me, it tastes good this way Basic Hiroshima Oyaki – 750 yen Since I don’t like eating onions and it was my first time eating Hiroshima Oyaki in Hiroshima, I decided to order Normal. For the main course, you can choose noodles or udon. Almost 95% of the customers in the store ordered noodles, so I followed suit. The basic Hiroshima Oyaki consists of only pork slices and eggs, in addition to noodles, batter, cabbage, and grilled noodles. The momentum of the meal is inevitably thin, and the changes in the middle and later stages are not enough, so I told you earlier that it is important to order good and full ingredients. There are sauces and mayonnaise on the table for you to try and add as you like. I always add a little more myself. The sauce of Nagataya Hiroshima Okaki is also the key to its deliciousness. Gotemba is famous for its outlets, but it also has many tourist spots. This time, we will introduce the charms of Gotemba, which is not just for shopping at the outlets. First, Peace Park, where you will be captivated by its pure white pagoda, like a Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia! This park is centered around the white stupa that houses a portion of Shaka's bones, donated by the late Indian Prime Minister Nehru, and features a Buddhist dojo, a Kannon statue, and 33 Kannon statues. On a clear day, you can see the large Mt. Fuji directly behind you, but unfortunately it was hidden when I went there. The second spot is Goryu Falls. It is a series of five waterfalls that flow down a lava cliff about 100 meters wide and 12 meters high, and is designated as a natural monument of Shizuoka Prefecture. There is also a suspension bridge, and you can view the waterfall from it, which is recommended☺️ The third is Komakado Wind Cave✨ This tunnel was created by the eruption of Shin-Fuji about 10,000 years ago, and you can enter it about 150m deep.
