In Wanaka, there is a vibrant community that centers around food trucks. In fact the food truck culture is growing. I like how one can grab food from different food trucks and sit at the benches to enjoy the meal and scenery.
I have tried a couple of food truck food at Wanaka but if I have to recommend one food stall, it will definitely be firebird! Their fried chicken is so crispy, juicy and delicious. What is awesome is that you can choose the spicy level that you want for your meat. The portion is pretty generous. In fact it is so huge that I have to take away the fries.
