Xuji at Far Eastern Department Store in Zhubei has always been renowned for its high quality and extensive menu. Since its opening, reservations have often been difficult to come by. I finally managed to get one this time, and it was truly exceptional. First, there are over a hundred dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The unlimited supply of snow crab legs is fresh and sweet, along with a variety of plump sashimi, seared scallops, various hand rolls, king crab miso soup, and a selection of cocktails and red and white plum wine. Basically, there's so much to eat that you can't finish it all in one round. While the prices are high, it's definitely worth the effort to try it out!

The counter decor feels familiar, though it's brighter and the seats aren't quite as comfortable. The spicy beef soup rice, with the added bonus of beef for $88, was braised and sliced a bit thicker, tender and soft, and the broth was quite flavorful. The fried chicken bibimbap was delicious, tender and juicy, and the batter wasn't too heavy. The rice had plenty of toppings, but the asparagus wasn't quite as good this time. The Korean fried chicken rice cake (secret sauce) was a bit on the stronger side, but the fried chicken was well-cooked and served with pickled radish. It was quite good. The deep-fried seaweed vermicelli rolls were not greasy, with a crispy exterior and vermicelli filling. They were even better with the sauce. The condensed milk fried rice cakes had a flavor of being fried in oil that had been used many times. It wasn't quite burnt, but the flavor wasn't great. How to travel around Hsinchu with good air and few people! You can go to Hukou Old Street and walk on the mountain. The air is very good! You can also go to Beipu Old Street (the salted pork and tea are very good and there are a lot of delicious things). Zhujian Hotpot in Zhubei has the best value for money. GBA and Hooters are both great restaurants and pubs in Zhubei. I highly recommend them! The Hanaji Komachi kebab here is super delicious and worth a try (Japanese style). How can you not go to Dayuan Department Store when you come to Zhubei? It is a must-go department store with a sense of design!
