Club Med Sanya has been an amazing experience. There are so many activities and events at all times of day that it is hard to get bored. Initially there were a few issues with our room due to low maintenance levels (our tap water didn’t work, our shower carpet was smelly, and the room floor and entrance table counter wasn’t cleaned properly so there were dark blobs on the floor), yet after we started seeing the hotel manager more, the whole atmosphere of the place changed… staff were a lot more friendly, restaurant manager started smiling (she initially shouted at my son for coming in to the restaurant with wet clothes, yet she did apologize after I spoke to her after my friends told me they saw the whole thing) and the place was cleaner too. The buffet options at lunch and dinner are pretty amazing (we didn’t make it to breakfast as it closes early but my friend told me it wasn’t great). The staff are very friendly and offer so many activities geared towards families. Deer, the beach bar is super family friendly and a great place to gather every night. it closes at midnight and there is dance music and some aerobics classes at night. It would be nice if on Fridays there was more dancing time, we were disappointed to try on my bday this week (which was in a Friday) as we were told there was a dancing party but it was just aerobics with not such a good music selection. Betty at the beach bar makes the BEST drinks and Viviana in the front desk will help you communicate with the nurse if you need any medicine or check ups. Strangely during our stay many people got an ear ache and infection, Viviana helped us get a quick and inexpensive ear drop/antibiotic which helped a few friends. Our room’s air conditioning never worked even though they came to repair it and did not upgrade our room despite the trouble we had sleeping some nights as it was so hot. The trapeze was a definite highlight, and so was the baby beach pool with white sand. The water sports are cool but they shut super early at 5pm and last sign up is 4:30pm. There is only 1 water sport daily (wish there was a choice). Jet ski is extra charge and not run by Club Med. The staff member didn’t help us book it and they just said go and find out ourselves so we never did it as we didn’t find out how to do it. You can swim in this beach which was lovely as we could not swim in Haitong Bay or Luhuitoi where we stayed at in 3 hotels previously. Overall an amazing experience for kids and families… I do think the maintenance and service could be better seeing the price.

This was my first trip to Hainan Island. China is the fifth country I’ve visited. When I was flying there, I was worried about bad weather, as July often brings rain, typhoons, and cloudy skies. Luckily, none of that happened during my 12-day stay. The weather was wonderfully sunny, the sea was a beautiful azure, and the palm trees were lush and green. Although there were waves during the first few days, I went to the quiet Xiao Donghai beach. Overall, I really enjoyed the trip and never felt bored. I visited a water park, Phoenix Park, and the End of the Earth Park. We stayed in different hotels throughout the trip. I highly recommend traveling to Hainan Island to everyone!

Just got back from a relaxing trip to Sanya, and it was pure bliss! This hotel is right by Sanya Bay, super close to the airport – just a 12-minute taxi ride after our late-night flight landed. It’s only 15 minutes to Tianya Haijiao (the "Edge of the Sky, Corner of the Sea" scenic spot) and 20 minutes to downtown. The first glimpse of its grand European castle-style architecture (later learned it’s Baroque) was jaw-dropping – so majestic and photogenic! 🏰 Our room had an expansive, unobstructed ocean view 🌊, with a huge swimming pool right below 🏊🏻‍♀️. We could also see the coconut tree-lined promenade and the endless blue sea. The balcony even had a large bathtub 🛁 – perfect for soaking after a long day, with the ocean and palm trees as our backdrop. Add some soft music... 🎶 It was the ultimate blend of "luxury" and "relaxation" – the *right* way to vacation in Sanya! No need to rush to attractions – just enjoy the sea breeze 🌴, breathtaking sunsets 🌇, and pure relaxation 💨 right at the hotel. We didn’t want to leave! 😭💯

📍Guojianglong chain bridge is located Within Yalong Bay Tropical Forest Park 🌴🌳🪴🌾🌿,Jiyang District, Sanya City.. 📍The drive 🚖 to arrive at the park toke me around 50 mins from my hotel 🏨 . I left around 10:30am but I’ll advice to go earlier since there’s a lot of people to do the activities. The park opens from 8:00am and closes at 6:00pm. 📍If you’re afraid 😱 of heights this activity will not be for you , persons were shaking the bridge to give a bounce effect . No need to worry there is a security on the bridge for safety reasons . I’ll advise to wear comfortable clothing and shoes since there’s a lot of walking ; wear a hat ; carry bottle water to stay hydrated because it’s very hot .
