Around 2002, the shrine was badly damaged, so women in the neighborhood pooled their money to build a new shrine. However, it was later destroyed in the Great East Japan Earthquake and is currently in the process of being rebuilt. I think there are pros and cons as to the shape of the shrine, but I think it's good to have a shrine like this. From the temple grounds, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the horizon. There is no parking lot in sight, but you can park by passing through the torii gate and entering the shrine grounds.

Very relaxing area. I've been here three times this year. You can take a walk or sit by the shore. I think pets are allowed as well. It's ¥200-300 yen to go on the lighthouse to view. You have to go up narrow stairs, and to see the magical view on top of the lighthouse. This is lighthouse at Cape Inubozaki is enchanting- it is a national heritage structure and the museum has all details on the operational part of the lighthouse since the beginning of the; views from the top of the lighthouse is mind blowing- you get a 360 degree view of the Pacific Ocean and also boasts of the first sunrise. It was fun for me. No time limit after you first enter.

This is port tower and nice view point to see the port and see. Also you can see the city. I really liked it. It’s 57mt high. I used the binocular there and watched the birds flying over the sea. It was really amazing. For people who have been to Tokyo tower and skytree, this will be small. But you can watch once for the sea view. You can focus the ships . It was a great experience!
