Natural scenery
The Emperor Cave is surrounded by mountains and rivers. It is a large limestone cave. It is mainly formed by the dissolution of groundwater for many years. The cave is warm in winter and cool in summer. The entrance of the cave is right by the Nanyao River. From a distance, it looks like a big buffalo with its mouth open. The cave is about 60 meters wide, 130 meters deep, 25 meters high, and covers an area of about 7,800 square meters. The cave hall is arched, flat and spacious, and can accommodate tens of thousands of people. The paths in the cave are winding, the swallows are flying, and the stalactites are colorful. In the southeast of the cave, there is a 90-meter-long natural stone scene, in which there is a throne, a stone man sits on the chair, and stone guards stand on both sides. Behind the stone scene is the "Imperial Palace". There are three horizontal stones at the door, like hanging colorful brocades. There is a stone pillar behind the door, and the pillar is carved with dragons and phoenixes. On the top of the palace, there is a hole through the sky, 2 meters long and 1.5 meters wide, like a skylight, the light shines down, making the cave dazzling. Climbing the stone steps can climb to the top of the cave from the skylight, and enjoy the surrounding mountains, rice fields and Li villages.
