Although the hotel is not large, with only five floors and a small garden courtyard, it features a unique modern Chinese style. The public areas are beautifully decorated, with murals and porcelain exhibits in corridor niches complementing each other, showcasing elegant taste. The room layouts are reasonable, and each suite has its own character—the mid-section suites are spacious and well-organized, while the end suites are quiet and equipped with bathtubs to meet different needs. 🛌 Amenities and facilities: The room facilities highlight quality, including Simmons mattresses, dual Samsung TVs, JBL Bluetooth speakers, and more; the bathroom features Grohe shower faucets, TOTO sinks, bathtubs, and electric toilets, paired with a Flyco hairdryer, showing attention to detail; large bottles of Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries, Philips electric kettles, Nespresso coffee machines, and a rich selection of drinks and tea bags further enhance the stay experience. Although the gym and indoor pool are limited in size and have traditional equipment, the pool water is clear, lanes are well arranged, and the area is quiet with few people, making it ideal for relaxing workouts. 💗 Other highlights and tips: The hotel is conveniently connected to Hongqiao Airport Terminal 1, with a bright lobby and eye-catching spiral staircase. However, if relying on the airport shuttle bus, be mindful of the schedule. In comparison, taking a taxi to Terminal 2 takes about 15 minutes, and walking to Terminal 1 takes less than 5 minutes, offering more flexibility. Additionally, the rooftop infinity pool, while harmonizing with the airport scenery, offers a unique perspective worth experiencing.

The predecessor of this Xiya Hotel was Melia, located at the entrance of Xiadu Town, with its own garden and swing, as well as an outdoor children's playground, the abundance of greenery is particularly pleasant. The hotel is located in the greater Hongqiao area, right next to Xiadu Town. Moreover, it is very close to Hongqiao Airport train station and the exhibition center. It's an excellent choice for business travelers as well. For lunch, I must praise the all-you-can-eat Hong Kong-style dim sum set meal on the second floor of the hotel, priced at 158 yuan per person. My friends and I ordered a table full of various classic Hong Kong-style dim sums. In the afternoon, it took just about ten minutes by car to get to the newly popular Panlong Tiandi near the hotel, a great place for shopping and leisure. I'm glad I made the wise decision to avoid the holiday peak and spent a delightful weekend here with my besties.
