If you're from Southeast Asia, chances are you've seen or used a bowl with chicken imprints. This was the birth place of those bowls.
Famed for their 'Chicken Bowl', the Dhanabadee Ceramic Museum located at Lampang is a wonderful museum just one and a half hours drive from the old town of Chiang Mai. A guided tour is provided and it was surprising that there were so much to see and learn from the manufacturer. We got a glimpse of the history as well as the manufacturing process with live artist working on the wares.
After the tour, you can opt for a ceramic painting session which was fun. If you love ceramics, the shop is a wonderful place to get your hands on affordable potteries.
