#NewYear2024 Seizing the tail end of the New Year holiday, I chose a relaxing hiking route with my friends to exercise 💪🏻⛰️, We chose the "Devil's Hill" in Yau Tong. From Yau Tong MTR Station, take Exit A2 towards Lei Yue Mun Village. Along the driveway to the Tseung Kwan O Chinese Permanent Cemetery, Walk up to the entrance of Wilson Trail (red-brown stairs). It takes 20-30 minutes to climb the stairs to the Devil's Mountain elevation column. When you reach the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the view of both sides of Victoria Harbour. If you plan the time and weather well, it is a good place to enjoy the sunrise and sunset🥰 In addition to the natural scenery, there are several former military facilities on the top of the mountain. There are multiple exits from the Devil's Peak. One of them is to extend your hiking journey to Lei Yue Mun villages. Getting back to the starting point of Wilson Trail and then turn left. Walking down along the concrete road, you will find the little path to the villages in Lei Yue Mun. It is a quiet green path with remains of previous villages appear in the mid of the route. And when you come across with the new ones and the farmland, it means you are arriving soon.
