Sandbar resort it’s a romantic resort not so fare from Cebu airport, in Cordova. The room are nice, clean and large. The resort is on the beach, which is nothing great, but the swimming give a great compensation. The swimming pool is huge, and it’s open also during the evening, i founded amazing the opportunity to swim in the evening, under the stars, before go for sleep. There is also a bar/restaurant on the pool, it offers a selection of local famous food, and also some western choices . There are not many facilities around, so it’s not a place where you want to go if you wish to explode the Philippines, but it’s a very comfortable place to go with your family, if you are looking for a resort to relax, play with your kids without too much trouble to move from the airport. A taxy from the airport it’s all you need to reach the destination in less than one hour . #2023travelwish Our last itinerary on our country side tour in Cebu is this beautiful sunset in Cordova. The white roses snaps beautifully with the golden sunset backdrop. I believe the sunset makes the place more charming and so with the lake. You can have your coffee or latte while having that relaxing couch looking at the great sunset. As the saying goes...everyday can end beautifully. I wish to travel in South Korea and Japan in 2023 and hope to experience a beautiful sunset there too.

The food was great, served hot, delicious, tastes what Filipino vegetable dish should be. Utensils are clean, tables are clean. Many options in the menu. The breakfast next day though was a complete opposite, since the hotel was in full occupancy, there was a deluge of guests for breakfast, you would have to waited to be seated. Options for buffet breakfast were many, usual breakfast fares, pastries are vast, some of the food that ran out was replaced by other food though. The Resort is located at Wahing Street , Brgy Alegria, 6000 Cordova, Philippines. It has very good ambiance and there are a lot of swimming pools to choose from. Highlights - Food is very good. Still the best food I’ve had in the hotels I’ve been to. The price per room is reasonable. It is best to choose the room with the sea view. It’s worth the price. It does not have stable internet connection though so I’m giving it 4/5 rating all in all. #staycation

I highly recommend Solea Mactan Resort for its best amenities, and it has a big beach area where you can enjoy swimming and they have kayaking and surf board to roam around the beach area while swimming. Swimming pools are big and best especially if you wish to try something new and explore some of their pools. Food is great. my daughter told me that Solea is one of her favorites staycation and she wants to visit again because of their children waterpark where she really had so much fun. I only suggest for the premiere room for the toilet bowl, to have a bidet though. that's all I could say and nothing more nothing less.

We had so much fun staying in solea. They have a friendly environment. My family loves so much about their rooms and pools and also it’s very affordable. We want to go back here soon. It’s highly recommended.

Catarman of Cordova Municipality offers white sand bar during low tide, and paddling activities over the clear water during high tide. We frolicked and paddled for two hours, exploring pathways inside the mini-mangrove sanctuary. It is a good thing that the locals initiated mangrove planting and preservation. It is one way to nest fishes and filter water.
