Cebu is the best city for tourism in the Philippines

1. Cebu is the second largest city in the Philippines. It has mountains, seas, bustling cities, and historical sites. There are many places to visit, including whale shark watching, sardine run watching, snorkeling, and diving. 2. Suitable for family trips, parent-child trips, and solo trips. Cebu is not overly commercialized; it is very simple and natural. The high mountains, vast seas, and vibrant marine life make people feel the energy of the universe, which is very healing. 3. Transportation | Fly from Manila to Cebu. The flight takes a little over an hour and is very convenient. Air tickets are only two or three hundred RMB. | Cost | We booked a local tour in Cebu, about 10,000 pesos per person, which is about 1,200 RMB. For two adults and one child, the total cost is 3,000 RMB (this is only the tour fee, not the total cost. The hotels on the first and last days were at our own expense). The attractions are scattered, so taking a taxi is not convenient. 4. Itinerary and Day 1: We arrived in Cebu on the first day of Holy Week, which commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus. The attractions were closed, so we rested in the hotel on the first day. In the evening, we found Parola Seaview Restaurant, the top-ranked restaurant on Google, for dinner. This seaside restaurant is a great place to take photos. The price is reasonable, the value is excellent, and the food is delicious. 5. Day 2: Cebu City one-day tour. We visited seven or eight attractions. Very satisfying. We visited various attractions in the city, which are easy to photograph. This itinerary allowed us to take many photos we liked because we went out to sea later, got all wet, and the photos we took were not so good. (There is a separate article about this.) 6. Day 3: We went to see the sardine run in the morning and went swimming in a waterfall in the afternoon. The sardine run is worth seeing, as this landscape is quite special, making people feel the profoundness, wonder, and variety of nature. 7. Day 4: We went to Moalboal to see whale sharks. We got up at 3:00 a.m. to queue (we weren't the earliest; there were already many people ahead of us). Because there were so many people watching, we didn't officially board the boat until 6:00 a.m. We also watched the sunrise by the sea. It was very interesting, but it required getting up early. 8. Day 5: We visited the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, saw tarsiers, and had dinner on the Loboc River (known as the "Amazon of Asia"). We were in a hurry, so we didn't stay in Bohol this time. If you are not in a rush, you can spend two or three days in Bohol. These are all very good choices.
