#mysgmemories I was fortunate to have the opportunity to stay in Dao by Dorsett AMTD Singapore a while ago, as part of a trip.com promotion. It is a service apartment that is on top of an office building, with a very beautiful outdoor infinity pool which we spent. I got the Studio Deluxe King which was the base room of the hotel but it was already a relatively well-equipped room with a kitchenette that is ready for some cooking. At the same time, being located on Shenton Way meant that while the immediate vicinity would offer very few food options in the weekend, just across on the other side of Tanjong Pagar there were plenty to offer. #mysgmemories Can lah! Let’s go makan! Great variety breakfast offerings at Dao by Dorsett AMTD Singapore but it can get chaotic in the morning because there is no proper queue system. The server will not assign you a table, so it is really first come first served. I did not have a good time here but since it was included in my stay, and I was invited so I just had a quick breakfast. Some of the rooms here have kitchen so it is also easy to whip up a meal. There are many groceries shopping to be done here too. You can choose to go to Don Don Donki or the regular supermarkets and even wet markets.

Explore Singapore superficially. Rushing through Singapore trip On Friday morning, I departed from Shanghai to Singapore Changi Airport and there was a taxi waiting at the gate. There are many Chinese in Singapore, so most of the taxi drivers can still speak Chinese. I booked the Dao by Dorsett AMTD hotel in advance 🏨 because I didn’t make a strategy in advance so I didn’t Book a very good hotel, the price of this hotel 2000➕ is actually similar to Atour in China, but the hotel is very convenient in the city center In the evening, I went to the Night Safari to experience the joy of children The next day I woke up naturally and checked in at Tanjong Beach 🏖 Although the man-made beach has a nice surrounding environment In the afternoon, I walked 5 kilometers with my girlfriend to go to the mall (pain mask) It is worth mentioning that it is really romantic to take a walk in Singapore at 12 o'clock in the morning Coincidentally bought a limited McDonald's 🍔 Lao Pa Sat is a key food street~ but I only love the Hainanese chicken here On the last day, I checked in the world's smallest Universal Studios. It is best to go before 1 o'clock, otherwise there will be a lot of people in line~ There are many small vendors who can buy priority cards to jump in line to play 3 items Finally, it is best to arrange Grab for the taxi software, because taxis here are really expensive...

Location is ideal as it's very centralised with a mall underneath. Lift lobby staff were very welcoming however front desk could be more hospitable. Requests were all met without any issues which was nice! Rooms were clean although it would be better if the beds for my room was an actual king sized rather than double beds. It also comes with microwave oven & even a toaster which I've never seen before in hotels! Ordered room service for breakfast & lunch which was not only delicious (particularly the Oakwood burger), but time efficient as well, all done using the tablet in room. Not forgetting the ledge of the half windows was a great addition to relax by the window. Lounging by the infinity pool was my highlight! Great outdoor setting with beautiful view of the city at the end of the pool. It's a good thing the pool closes late - seeing the city lights up was a gorgeous sight! Went for morning & night swim, the pool temperature was just right despite winds here and there. Ending off my highlights were the super soft & comfy bathrobe and slippers! Price per Person - $300 per night Rating - 9/10 Stayed here twice and both times I come, it is awesome. i like the outlook of the hotel and room concept. it provided a very calm and solace feeling which I looked for in a staycation. Both times I booked the cheapest room but the second time I was upgraded to 1 bedroom hotel room. The 1 bedroom room allows me to cook in the room and everything can be requested via the oakwood app or a call to the reception. i enjoyed thoroughly as the staff are friendly and there isn’t any crowd the both times I was here on a weekend. Address - 6 Shenton Way, #07-01 OUE Downtown 1, Singapore 068809 Ambiance/Facilities - Swimming pool, laundry room Highlights - Relaxing pool, fully equipped kitchenette Rating - 3.5/5 Located at Tanjong Pagar business district with alot of dining options around the vicinity. Hotel is rather new. Room is clean and comfy. The king sized bed is actually 2 single beds combined together, something unusual. Wireless Speaker also can play your favourite tunes. The room is also equipped with a small kitchenette.You can cook your favourite meals in room if need to. Utensils and pots were provided as well. The swimming pool is attractive and boast expansive view of the keppel habour area. Had breakfast at the in house restaurant and tastewise is pretty average.

This seamless infinity pool is located at Oakwood Premier AMTD Singapore. It is a luxury serviced apartment that is located in the central business district. I personally am in love with the landscaping as well as the facade of the hotel - so minimalist, not to mention, the surrounding areas - super accessible to places like Lau Pa Sat & the city. I love that the pool closes late which allows me to have a gorgeous view of the CBD at night and with multiple lounges and cabana by the pool gives an iconic view of the CBD area, Shenton Way & a glimpse of the sea both day & night. The pool is also in the right temperature which I’m not sure whether it is temperature controlled but it was a blast to swim and float around - soaking in the moments and the views. #staycation #infinitypool #summervacation

Gosh! Oakwood Premier AMTD Singapore has the longest lap pool I have even seen. They also have a jacuzzi in their pool but I feel that the water jets are weak. The views here are awesome, totally unblocked and you can see right into the sea, Marina Bay Cruise Terminal. If you are lucky, you can spot cruises cruising through too. A bit of a pity on missing out fireworks from the pool if there are any fireworks on National Day or NYE. At the far end of the pool, you can even see Oasia Downtown too. If you position yourself at the far corner of the pool, you can get a pool to the sea infinity photo.

Address - SE7ENTH, Oakwood Premier AMTD Hotel, 6 Shenton Way, OUE Downtown 1, Level 7, Singapore 068809 SE7ENTH is the only in-house restaurant part of Oakwood Premier AMTD Hotel. Since my husband and I had $80 dining credits and complimentary breakfast already included in our staycation booking, we visited this restaurant twice during our stay! For dinner, I really liked the salmon and tiramisu dishes but the steak was a little tough for our liking. For breakfast the next day, it was unfortunately only limited to one set per pax. We also had the option to grab and go to dine in our room. The mains were very average, pastries were unusually hard, like it had been refrigerated overnight. It is really long and huge, spanning almost the entire length of the pool deck. Beside the pool are cabanas and lounge chairs for guests to relax in. Being our very first staycation at Oakwood Premier AMTD Hotel, my husband and I were surprised to find out that this property is actually both a hotel and a serviced apartment! Our assigned One-Bedroom Deluxe Apartment was on the 17th floor, which boasted an awesome view of the sea. I love the contemporary aesthetic of the room. The best part was the bay window area where tons of natural light streamed in while I soaked in the expansive views of the blue sea and sky. Bathroom was clean and although not as spacious as those in most of our previous stays, it was functionally sufficient. Turndown service came with a nice gesture of snacks and drinks. Address - Oakwood premier amtd Ambiance/Facilities - at OUE Tower thus not much shopping area as mostly are closed on the weekends. No pharmacy at nearby area too. Limited food choices unless you travel out. Highlights - the cozy room and bed! Nice tea selection and nespresso for you to consume. Dined at the SE7ENTH with dining voucher and food was not bad. Gin&tonic was good too. Free breakfast at the restaurant with your choice of breakfast and it was decent as well. Avg. Price per Person - 11.11 promo : 11sgd for room, plus free 80sgd dining voucher and free breakfast. Rating - Hotel food and room deserves a 4/5

Unexpectedly marking the return of P2HA with this. Didn’t end up impacting things too much as I still loved the modern (and clean!) service apartment even though it has a very compact bathroom. Service was nothing to complain about, and tabao breakfast was surprisingly generous. At $150nett booked via trip.sg, it’s a steal🙈

Address - 6 Shenton Way, OUE Downtown 1, #07-01, 068809, Singapore Ambiance/Facilities - check-in/concierge is located on the 7th floor. the room has a small kitchenette which can do light cooking. there is also a toaster, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. as this is a serviced apartment, the room also comes with alot of clever storage solutions which is ideal for long term stay. There is a pillow bar, so you can request for your preferred pillow via the tablet. The pool is not very big but is of regular size, the best part is the scenery. breakfast was takeaway as we stayed there during the heightened alert. Highlights - it is just a five minutes stroll to Lau Pa Sat which serves a wide variety of cheap and good hawker food! i stayed over a weekend and the streets were all quiet as all the offices are closed. Avg. Price per Person - Sgd100 Rating - 8/10

#thingstodo Highly recommend! Lovely stay. They let us check in early, look after our luggages and let us use the shower facility since we had late flight after check out. The location is perfect, so close to everything. Nice swimming pool but open a bit late 8am, would love earlier opening time. Gym is cozy, not a lot of equipment but very clean. Id love to go bAck again

#singapore One-on-one VIP checking. No need to wait in line. There are variety of TWG drinks in the hotel lobby. As for the service of star hotels, I personally think that they are all the same. But for passengers who need to communicate in Chinese, this hotel may be less ideal) Continental buffet-style breakfast. The restaurant’s presentation makes the food more advanced. Although the restaurant is not big, but the varieties of the buffet is very rich. I will rate the buffet breakfast five stars. Singapore hotel usually don’t include free breakfast, most of the hotels are add on breakfast option. But I personally feel that hotel includes breakfast are a add on bonus, especially when they taste good! It will actually make your day better!

#singapore We stayed in the One-Bedroom Executive Suite (Harbour View) Is about a 5-minute walk from Lau Pa Sat, it’s really convenient to eat and drink at any time during the night as many store open till late. About 5-10 minutes walk from MRT Blue Line T18. In room there are Nespresso coffee capsules. TWG tea bags. Alkaline water in sustainable packaging. Well equipped Kitchen with toaster, induction stove, water kettle, oven, build in refrigerator, sink, pots and bowls. (Most equipment uses delonghi) There is a washer and dryer in room too! The room is large and comfortable. The infinity pool and the gym are perfect. The overall facilities of the hotel are comfortable and elegant but not fancy.
