It was like experiencing the locals' travel life. It was a different kind of fun! To enter the park, I can tell you that buying tickets through Trip.com is cheaper than at the park entrance. 💙 And I recommend bringing canned oxygen (the park sells them for 30 yuan per can). This way, you'll enjoy your trip and won't get out of breath. This trip introduced me to another dimension of Sichuan's nature, to the grandeur of Dagu Glacier, a glacier hidden amidst mountains over 5,000 meters above sea level. 🚡 Journey to the Glacier From Maoxian City, I took a bus to Dagu Glacier Park. The scenery on both sides was lined with towering mountains and deep green pine forests. The closer I got to the park, the more exciting I became. At the entrance, I took a cable car, said to be one of the longest in Asia, to an altitude of over 4,800 meters. In just a few minutes, the scene before me changed from dense forest to pristine snow-capped peaks. 🏔️ The Magnificence Ahead As I stepped off the cable car, the cold wind blew hard against my face, forcing me to wrap myself up. But what I saw in front of me momentarily made me forget the cold—a vast expanse of white glacier cascading down from the mountaintop. It was a magnificent sight that made me feel tiny. I walked along the scenic trail, lightly dusted with snow, and every step was a breath of fresh air. Although it's easy to get tired due to the altitude, every step is worth it, as the scenery is a natural reward. 📸 Best time to visit I chose to visit in early winter (November). Snow was just beginning to fall, creating a romantic atmosphere and easy walking. However, if you visit during the summer (June–August), you'll witness a different kind of beauty: the glaciers contrasting with the lush green mountains. 📝 Impressions Dagū Glacier isn't just a tourist attraction, it's a testament to both nature and man. It took a long time to change vehicles from bus, high-speed train, taxi, bus...🤭until we arrived, it was exciting all the way🥹 We traveled from Jiuzhaigou, bought a bus ticket to Songpan Take the high-speed train to Maoxian, then take a train to Heishui Sleep at Heishui for 1 night 👍 ​​Puya Hotel, mountain view, new and clean, the owner of the hotel is lovely, there is a car to drop off - pick up at Dagu ♥️Free. If you call a taxi, it will cost 20 yuan per person (it will be very difficult to find a car on the way back) (Book on Trip.com) Book and use it right away, about 1,200 baht, very cheap and fast.... In the morning, go up to Dagu at 9 am, come down at 3 pm, very worthwhile (buying on Trip.com is cheaper than buying at the event) You get a lot of pictures.
