#travel I visited Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park last month, and it was one of the most stunning places I’ve ever seen! The colorful, striped mountains look like something from another planet—photos don’t do it justice. We went at sunset, and the warm light made the reds, yellows, and greens even more vibrant. The park is well-organized with shuttle buses taking you to different viewpoints, so it’s easy to explore. The only downside was the wind (bring a jacket!), and some viewpoints were crowded, but it wasn’t too bad compared to other tourist spots in China. We stayed overnight in Zhangye, a quiet city with friendly locals and great hand-pulled noodles. Absolutely worth the trip—a must-see for nature lovers!
