#February Good Places 2025 When you come to Penang, you should stay in a Nanyang-style hotel, but see Citadine Connect Cecil, a newly opened chain hotel in 2024, has a good location and atmosphere, and free coffee for buffet. There is also a delicatessen nearby, famous for snack bars and shopping malls. The place is clean and good service, so I decided to stay at this. It only costs 1,000 yuan in Hong Kong dollars for 3 nights, which is really a bargain! I couldn't get a grab at the airport so I took the 401E bus for RM 2.7 and walked a few minutes to get there. This hotel only has three floors, so the rooms are not very wide but enough to live in, but note that most rooms have no windows. The room is spacious and bright, the decor is simple and stylish. The bedding is soft and comfortable, making you not want to get up once you lie on it. There is an indoor pool and Gym Room, the amenities are not very big, but this price is good value for money! There are also small shops downstairs, hair salon, tea room.....walk a little further, and UNESCO attractions.

🏠 Accommodation 1.Citadines Connect Cecil Georgetown Penang Very new and comfortable hotel in the middle of Penang. opposite is the Cecil market which has plenty of local food (breakfast)

Swift check in and free room upgrade. All staffs are friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Price is reasonable and location is superb. The only downside is there is no parking provided and we need to find street parking ourselves. 1st avenue mall is just 10mins walk from this hotel. Many eateries are walking distance too, especially the local Cecil morning market is just the opposite the hotel, very convenient and many nice food.
