Chongzuo Family Trip Guide: Stay at the Right Hotel and Wake Up in a Fairy Tale Every Day
We did tons of research before taking the kids to Chongzuo, but the hotel’s scenery totally won us over! In the morning, we watch the mountains from the room; in the afternoon, we play in the pool; at night, we tell stories under the starry sky. The karst mountains and clouds are always changing, and the kids discover something new every day. “Mom, look, the mountain is wearing a hat (referring to the fog)!” “The mountain’s blushing (referring to the sunset)!” Their innocent words are even more healing than the scenery☀️
✅ Chongzuo Daze Slope Yunding Panorama Resort
42 rooms, plenty of space for the kids! Our room had huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The kids often dragged a small stool to sit by the window, holding crayons to draw the mountains. Their crooked mountain sketches actually looked pretty good~ Looking out from the room, the mountains and water look like they’re framed, and every snapshot is a perfect family photo!
✅ Guangxi Chongzuo Secret Realm Lishi Resort
By the Ming Shi River on the China-Vietnam border, surrounded by banana groves, the air is full of the scent of plants~ Rooms start at 80㎡, with beds facing the floor-to-ceiling windows. The kids jump up as soon as they open their eyes in the morning: “Mom! The mountain is so close to us!” At night, you can see stars filling the sky. He whispers in my ear, “The stars are blinking, are they not sleeping either?”
⭐ Unlock wild luxury experiences with kids:
Ming Shi River Bamboo Raft Afternoon Tea: The bamboo raft drifts slowly, the kids poke their cake with little forks, watching the bamboo on the shore float backward, saying, “We’re on a boat chasing bamboo!”
Ming Shi Countryside Cycling: Rent a bike for kids, he sits in the back holding my clothes, the wind blowing his hair, singing nursery rhymes
Infinity Starlight Pool: The water temperature is just right at dusk. We play in the water watching the sunset, the mountains turn orange-red, and he says, “It’s like orange-flavored candy!”
Weizhou Island Electric Car Tour: Driving around the island, he points at the sea and shouts, “Blue! So much blue!”
Starry Sky Cinema: Watching cartoons at night, he rests his head on dad’s leg, his little feet swinging, super cozy~
📍 5-Day Family Itinerary:

▪ Must-visit kid-friendly spots:
Shi Countryside: The rice fields are lush green, smoke rises from village chimneys, and the kids said, “It looks like grandma’s painting,” and waved to the grandfather herding cattle
Waterfall: The transnational waterfall is so impressive. He said, “Is the water on the left from China and the water on the right from Vietnam?” His little head is full of wonderful ideas
Island: The sand is soft. He dug in the sand all afternoon, saying he wanted to “dig a river for the little crabs to go home”
Silver Beach: The sand glows! Watching the sunset at dusk, he scooped up the sand and said, “Mom, look, it’s star sand!”
