But not so many people know that there’s a beautiful temple along the mountain. You can take a one day trip from Kuala Lumpur to Genting. Take a bus from KL Sentral and it will bring you to Genting in less than an hour. The bus will depart every 30 minutes. You have to take a cable car to reach the temple and don’t forget to wear a jacket as it’s more getting cold than in Kuala Lumpur. It’s free entrance, no wonder so many people come on weekends. There’s a giant Budha statue and pagoda that makes this temple more beautiful and even more magical when the mist is started appear. Found this gelato van/bus which serves very nice ice-cream. They even offer complimentary tasting and we got to try all the flavours available. The boss, Kenneth, is so generous. We love their MSW ice-cream. It’s thick and fragrant. Can really taste its originality. Highly recommend the Affogato. D24 durian with a cup of expresso over it. #kualalumpur We were holidaying in Genting Highlands and thus got the chance to visit Chin Swee Caves Temple. It was a spectacular place with the huge Buddha statue and pagodas.
