The atmosphere of this shop is warm and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. Whether you come alone, with friends, or bring your family to enjoy dessert, this is a great place to go. I ordered a pancake that was slightly crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside, with a light milky flavor. It was delicious just on its own! Paired with fresh cream and honey, every bite is a taste of happiness The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly during our meal. They also enthusiastically recommend their signature flavours, and the prices are very reasonable. In terms of high quality and large portions, the CP value is really high! This cafe also has a special design - the bookshelf area. For friends who like to read while eating dessert, this is a great relaxing space. In addition, there is a small children's play area, so parents don't have to worry about their children getting bored if they bring their children here, and they can relax and enjoy their dessert time. If you are a dessert lover or Bingsu ice cream fan, Bing Bingsu Café is definitely worth a try! Our day started bright and early around 8 am with a trip to Gim Cheng Dim Sum. This place is a must-visit for authentic Malaysian-style dim sum. Everything is made fresh in the morning, and you can taste the difference! We savored a variety of steamed and fried dumplings, a delicious way to kick off our day. After a satisfying breakfast, we headed to Mid Valley Southkey mall. It's a great place for a leisurely stroll and some window shopping. We weren't looking for anything specific, just enjoying the atmosphere and browsing the various stores. It's a spacious mall, perfect for a comfortable walk. Lunchtime rolled around, and we were ready for a treat at Bao Jun Hotpot. This buffet-style hotpot restaurant offers a modern setting and a wide variety of ingredients. A bonus was the senior citizen discount, which my mom appreciated. We enjoyed a delicious and interactive meal, choosing our favorite ingredients and cooking them to our liking. Following lunch, we took a break at Beautea for some refreshing fruit tea and bubble tea. It was the perfect pick-me-up after our meal. We relaxed and chatted while enjoying our drinks, a sweet little pause in our day. We continued our shopping and walking at Mid Valley Southkey before making our way to JB City Square. You need to take a Grab to get anywhere. Fortunately, the hotel offers a shuttle service to City Square every 30 minutes, which is very convenient. There are not many restaurants and shops nearby, so you will need to take a taxi to eat or shop. 🏢🛋 The hotel is stylish and modern, and the rooms, living room, and bathroom are clean and tidy. Each room is spacious and equipped with various facilities, such as a microwave, iron, and desk. The check-in process is simple and convenient, and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. 🛏 The room is uniquely designed, and the bed is very comfortable. We stayed in room 1904, which was spacious and had an amazing sea view. The microwave and extra sink made heating baby food and simple tasks very convenient. The hotel pool has a great view, especially when there are fewer people on weekends. The room also has a sofa, desk, hairdryer, and other essentials. However, there are some minor flaws, such as the cleaning is sometimes not very thorough, and the shower drainage system needs improvement. 🏞 If you are looking for some good places to eat, I recommend the following nearby restaurants: Tosca, Double Tree By Hilton Johor Bahru, Dine @ Eight, Chez Papa French Bistro and Wine Bar, Makan Kitchen, and Fatfish jb. Although you need to take a taxi to get there, they are definitely worth a try! #newyearnewtrip Spent 2024 and 2025 (well, I mean the last day of 2024 and first day of 2025) with KSL Hotel and Resort which is very conveniently located near KSL City Mall. We had booked the triple room consisting of one single bed and one queen bed. While we had issues with the shower head as the water was spraying in two different directions instead of one, and the room does not have good soundproofing as we can hear the fireworks even when they were far away, the room was clean and nicely fits the 3 of us. The facilities were pretty decent with a swimming pool, gym and games room which had billiards tables and table tennis tables to entertain guests of all ages.

Temper is famous for their various types of steak and usage of smoke-infused techniques to give the dishes that unique aroma. They have a dry ager cabinet to dry age their steaks which is not common in many restaurants. You enter the place, choose the type and weight of the steak for that day and please get their foie gras sauce to go with the steak. That is the highlight imo! Their steak also comes with smoke infused salad which tastes super good. End the meal off with the temper signature smoked cheesecake which again you can taste that smoke infused aroma. #travellerswonderland Think about Dim Sum when traveling in Johor Bahru Malaysia and the first dining place that comes to mind would be Pin Ming Xuan Dim Sum restaurant. I love the oriental design of this restaurant and it's clean and comfortable eating environment. Come here during the weekends and it's always full, my suggestion is to come here early to avoid crowds. Their dim sum selection is one of the best and some of my favourites were their Xiao long bao, Liu sa bao, XO carrot cake, siew mai and steam pork ribs. Prices are affordable here, which is a huge draw for customers and their dim sum is well presented and flavourful. A basic plate of dim sum starts from RM5.90 onwards. Highly recommend Pin Ming Xuan Dim Sum place!
