Buried Cadillacs on Cadillac Ranch Texas
That’s right those are real Cadillacs you see buried in the ground. The Cadillac Ranch is located just off the highway in beautiful Amarillo Texas. I came across this crazy roadside attraction as I was driving to all 50 states in the United States. (I drove from Fairbanks Alaska into the lower 48 and then shipped my card to Hawaii)
this road side attraction is completely free and in fact people leave spray paint cans on the ground just so that everyone can write their names on the car….. mine is in blue!

A Journey to the Past: Cadillac Ranch on Route 66
In the heart of Route 66 lies a whimsical art installation—Cadillac Ranch—a tribute to the golden age of automobiles. Emerging from countless movies and pop culture references, these buried Cadillacs invite visitors to express their creativity through spray paint. Among the echoes of bygone eras, a vibrant atmosphere awaits, blending nostalgia with modern artistry. 🚗🎨

Attractions - Cadillac Ranch is a roadside piece of art attraction. Standing along Route 66 west of Amarillo, Texas, Cadillac Ranch was invented and built by a group of art-hippies imported from San Francisco. They called themselves The Ant Farm, and their silent partner was Amarillo billionaire Stanley Marsh 3. He wanted a piece of public art that would baffle the locals, and the hippies came up with a tribute to the evolution of the Cadillac tail fin. Ten Caddies were driven into one of Stanley Marsh 3's fields

Amarillo, Cadillac Farm stands in the wind, and he has nothing to do with Route 66.
In 1974, a group of artists called Ant Farm established the Cadillac Farm to express respect for American cars. The oldest cars they bought at the time were produced in 1949, the latest in 1963.
But the artists are not going to pay attention to the cars on the farm. They allow all the passengers to freely paint poems on the car and legally leave the treasures of going here. The three artists "planted" the ten scrapped Cadillac here, when they were still as bright as new, and now they have been sprayed with graffiti by travelers.
White hair grandma talked about this history while taking pictures. "But we prefer what he is now being graffitied!" said the young child.
These body paintings are also memories of the three generations of grandparents and grandchildren.
