For fans of L.M.Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables book series, a trip to Prince Edward Island in Canada is definitely a dream come true. There are multiple spots to visit but I would definitely recommend the Green Gables Heritage Place. There is an exhibit hall where you can learn more about L.M. Montgomery and see the covers of the books published in multiple countries. You can also look around the Green Gables house, where the rooms have been set up to reflect what was described in the books. Take some time to explore the Haunted Woods trail and Lovers Lanearound the house. Finally end the visit by trying the raspberry cordial that Anne wrongly served in the book. There is also an Anne of Green Gables musical that runs every year, if you're visiting when the show is on this is also a great one to catch. #holidayitinerary
